Is anyone watching Wayward Pines on TV? I was bummed they killed Juliette Lewis on the second episode!

(sorry this is a Non sequitur)

I watched episode 1 & 2 last night...I didn't see that coming at all!

Day 21 today. That means the end of today will be 3 weeks!

Making it through this weekend sober will be a huge accomplishment for me. I think we should get to add a week to our time since it is a holiday weekend and it's harder. LOL!

Congrats on 3 weeks AllieKat!! Excellent.

That was a shocker wasn't it? I have always liked her as an actress. And isn't Kate creepy? Shiny weird eyes.

Yes, I though that since she is such a well know actress she would probably stick around for the whole thing. The way Kate talks is really creepy. She's like really friendly but not at the same time. I can't wait for episode 3!

No gymnastics class. Daughter wanted a break this morning and for once I didn't insist. Trying to muster the energy for housework. It's not going so well. Monday night will roll around with massive regrets. No hangover but just from not getting stuff accomplished.

Guess rice pudding is out of the question too for you Della. I like oatmeal.

No I actually love rice pudding and tapioca. I freely admit I am a freak.

Brain I don't know what mush is but I like Cream of Wheat.

Oh come on, Verte -- you could single-handedly revolutionize global seltzer production!

BTW, thanks all for the selter reviews and tips. I'm cutting down on sugar and diet sodas make me feel weird.

39 degrees when I woke up... Going up to a balmy 60 and very breezy. Snow in northern Maine this morning. Yikes! I was once on the beach in early June and could see my breath. I LOVE Maine!

8 mores days of vacation left. Not feeling it yet. Will once everyone else is at work. That will make things feel different.

Trying to hunt down a lunch establishment at the moment. Lots to choose from.

Stay sober today. This moment is all you got.

K

All this talk of Sober Schnooze made me think of this Oldie But Moldy Tune from 1961. So far as I can tell, Bobby Lewis is not directly related to Juliette Lewis. Who, is totally Thermonuclear Hot, IMO. Must be dem Dimples. Except for her phase of wearing Caucasian Cornrows in her Hair. But, hey, kudos to her for branching out. She still looks better than I do on any day that ends in 'y'. 'Tis a bummer to hear she kacks in the 2nd Episode of anything.

A big ole SR Shout Out to Whitetiger79 ; not that far from my old Stompin' Grounds around SoCal. Avocado Groves. Nurseries. Earthquake Uplift Mountains. Orange Groves to the East. And, on top of one Mountain, the Mr. Palomar Observatory seen below.

I worked with lotsa these Scientists over the years. Liquid Nitrogen is the chilling medium of choice to cool various Detectors, and 'stick' random Gas Molecules out of the way while extremely-low level Signal Electrons are generated, and processed into Images via trick Software. The Good News is that Observatories like Palomar still make important contributions to Science because so many Experiments are outside Optical Wavelengths. So, Light Pollution from encroaching Development doesn't doesn't hurt the Science. Too much...

~2' of new Snow here in the Colorado Rockies. 'A Basin' Ski Resort might stay open until July. A Group of Skiers from China are working out there now for some pending Competition.

OK, off to the Store for more Coffee 1/2 & 1/2 in emerging Sun...

- 'Tossin & Turnin' ~ Bobby Lewis -> Disney -

Maybe because you are weird? just kidding. You're not weird. You're strange! Lol well I am anyways!

I only drink seltzer. I have not touched a soda in years. I firmly believe that I don't want to drink calories. It's a waste. Exception is V8 juice. Love that stuff.
