Whew! Off to bed and I made it through a sober Friday night. Not as seasoned as many on here....only day 5 for me but getting past a Friday night sure feels like I did something special.
Next up....sober Saturday

Nope, never had watermelon candy that tastes like real watermelon before which makes you wonder about the chemicals used to make things taste like other things......creepy yet fascinating.
By this time of year we usually have quite a few hummingbirds but it's been so rainy and stormy for weeks now I haven't seen any of our usuals.
Spent the day with a friend looking at old yearbooks and eating some of the best ice cream I've ever had....caramel with caramel swirl and chocolate covered bits of cone!

Just got back from listening to rambling drunks for 2 hrs. Could I have really been like that? Yes Absolutely.
Saw an old friend that I told I had quit drinking and he said that he really thinks he needs stop. If I had been drinking that conversation probably never would have happened.

Way to go Dharma on your milestone!
Tetra, I am envious of your upcoming empty house. Ahhhh. Just thinking about it...so nice. Excited for you, though.
Happy Friday everyone. R&R tonight and watching the last third of Blackhat .
So about that seltzer. Mesa man - you know how when you start researching something and how it goes from the bare bones, straightforward little seltzer machine into watching You Tube videos and compiling a parts list in order to make my own mega CO2 canisters? Yeah. It got a little out of hand so I scrapped the entire project.
The region I'm in sells Polar seltzer at serious low price. Tasty and my fave. La Croix is too pricey where I am but so good. The only seltzer water I do not like is Dasani. I'm not sure exactly why...just never tasted bubbly or cold enough for the amount of flavor.

You don't need to use. That part of you cannot do anything without you approval and you are not gonna give it.
Glad you found us, jump in as much as you like.

Happy sober-no hangover-full of promise Saturday morning to everyone. Thanks for reminding me of that MisterChill.
Today is a great day for day 2 segCurly.....nice to know you never have to have another day one.. That simple but powerful realization was huge for me and I still remind myself of that fact if I'm feeling antsy. Hang in there Whitetiger.
I always enjoy your pics saoutchik....and all the others as well. Little glimpses into parts of the world I've never seen.
Well it's before dawn here, and maybe one of my favorite quiet times of the whole week. A little self reflection, attitude tweaking if needed, gratitude time and enjoying that oh so good mug of coffee or two......then gym time. I love it.
