I'm in again! Didn't post much on last weekend's thread but definitely kept up with it and was very entertained. Day 14 today. Thank you to everyone here for helping me stay sober today!

Something to add to the Random New Experience Files. Had a "Pitaya" yesterday, also known as Dragon Fruit. Those are the real colors, it's so purple it's almost glowing when you cut it open! Tastes a bit like a kiwi, nothing to write home about taste-wise. I'm sure it would be a cool conversation-starter on any fruit plate though!

Pretty cool colors there BigS! I've had dragon fruit. Agree on the "myeh" assessment, taste wise. It's like $8 a fruit here.

Casey, good job on day 14. That's super! What are your plans for the weekend?

Greetings fellow sober-enders,

How is everyone doing? Glad to hop aboard and celebrate a sober Memorial day with my American friends.

Enjoy your vacation K - you deserve it!

Exciting developments on the new job and house front Mex - sounds great!!!

Get well soon Nons!! Or was it LBrain?

Nearly finished work here for the day. Think I will go for a bike ride to burn off the madness, weather permitting.

Thank you. No specific plans. I start a new job on Monday. Might try to get a leg up and start studying their menu this weekend. I'm sure I'll spend a lot of time here on SR. Been obsessed with these number puzzles called nonograms for the last few days so I'll probably do some of those. Haven't gone to any AA meetings yet this go-round so it would probably be a good idea to break that barrier. I'm sure I'll have dinner with my folks at least one night.

Ruby and bigS... I am staying around here. They call Maine vacationland for a reason. Lots to do in great weather. So no need to run anywhere. I also need to stay close for Henry to get his needle twice a day.

I plan on heading around to a few tourist spots. Want to hit the beach but not warm enough to lay out. Upper 60 low 70 most of the week.

I plan on taking you all along everyday. Might not be much to report but having to report is important.

I left work to finish the day at home then that's it.

Work is top notch. I am hitting it all so solid and thing just are working for me. Everything has to do with my clear head and hopeful heart with everything I do. Being sober lets that part live where as before it was under a thick blanket of guilt, fear and disappointment. Not no mo!!!!

It seems that somewhere around post #50 is my normal entry. Through the window, this time.

Ken, enjoy your time off - as I know you will. It's lovely and warm and sunny here, MesaMan.

We here in the Lesser Seattle Society thank you for spreading the story of constant rain, though. Keeps those people from moving here.

Get off my lawn.

Everyone on this bus helped me stay sober last weekend, so of course I am riding it again this weekend.

I look forward to your vacation dispatches K! I have never been to Maine. Never even been to America.

Hi Patty! Good to see you!

A week seeing Maine sounds lovely, Weasel. I once toured the Shaker Village at Sabbathday Lake. It was interesting and a pretty area. Rural peaceful back then but it's been 25 years. Its a national landmark. Might be worth a see.

OK, 1 Vicodin so far today. The Doc authorized up to 8, so I am feeling pretty good about my pain management skills. I took one about an hour before the first dressing change. Glad I did. Quite tender.

It was nice to see my outie was an innie again.

Hi Sobernauts

I enjoyed Conquests video of the squirrels. Life would be a whole lot better if we helped each other.

Welcome newcomers, good decision

Congratulations on the new job Mecanix

Hope you feel better soon Nons - that 10 cents is on its way.

One more day to go. I'm at work on my own again, I feel like the Phantom of the Opera, haunting the place, especially when I go into the factory - the acoustics are freaky. Below is the newish paint/cure bay, ideal ever we decide to repaint the weekend bus
