Fearless - Worrying is a terrible habit I've always had. Most of the awful things I worried about never happened - yet some things I never worried about did. Proof that it's useless.
Grateful to be greeting dogs & kitties at the shelter this morning - husband walks the big guys, I can't.
Grateful to see some of our migratory birds returning to gorge on birdseed. Better stock up.$$$

Grateful to be here. There’s lots I’m grateful for and want to post but gotta run. Impromptu visit and overnight stay from husband’s family has set me back a bit with work. It was super fun and I am grateful for the time with them.

Grateful that I caught onto the ruse before I was sucked in.
Grateful to my parents for preparing my sibs and me during our young years to face reality.

Grateful for an impromptu dinner out with a work friend last night. It’s usually my work-late night but I don’t have my ordinary amount piled up and it was a very frustrating day so it was nice to go and vent...and eat...and drink water.
Grateful for iced water. It really is so wonderful.
Grateful for Thai food, in particular for my favorite mango sticky rice, which i got to enjoy last night.
Grateful I’ve gone to bed reading a paper book every night in screen free week. I do everything on kindle ordinarily but it does seem like the printed books are better for restful sleep, or at least that’s how it has seemed so far.
Grateful for the humility prayer (not sure if that’s it’s actual name).
Grateful for all of you.

Grateful for another sober day.
Grateful to be home safely from the school/mum run, the traffic was gridlocked.
Grateful to buy a bit of food for my wayward son and a bag of dog food for his little dog. Big sigh, I know I shouldn't but I'm glad I did.
Grateful for my umbrella.
Grateful for strong coffee.
Grateful to be on this journey with the grat pack. xx

Numblady, when I first talked to my doctor years ago about my drinking amounts, she looked me right in the eye and said “water tastes really good, you know.” It really stuck with me and I’m grateful she said it.

Grateful for 7 hours of uninterrupted good sleep, a rare toy for me.
Grateful to be re-reading One Breath at a Time, Buddha....twelve steps
Grateful to understand the difference between powerlessness and helplessness, and that I am not the latter
Grateful for the opportunity to have some work challenges today, to have confidence I can handle sober, to seek support when I need it
Grateful for a great work team
Grateful to have a house and cat sitter lined up for at least one summer vacation
