Daisy, ugh how awful and how cruel, I am so sorry. I hope your g.son was able to get out of the situation as quickly as possible. The cruelty of children, and bullies especially, is tough. I hope it gets a little less painful with each passing hour and day.
Aly, I’m sorry about the surgeon even if you did get a referral elsewhere. That’s a long time to wait in pain. My heart goes out to you.

Grateful for cooing pigeons or whatever I’m hearing outside my window. (I am uniquely terrible at bird identification )
Grateful to be able to goof around and laugh with work colleagues on an otherwise brutal day yesterday.
Grateful to be about to take a shower.
Grateful the weekend is coming.
Grateful for you and your grats.

Grateful to watch final episode of Big Bang Theory with husband and son last night.
Grateful for my son’s karate instructor and for an awesome inspirational talk he had with my son and a couple other boys his level last night. They are gearing up for their big test come Fall. Lots of excitement and nervousness at same time.
Grateful it’s Friday.
Grateful for a break in the rain, even though more is expected tomorrow
Grateful to be celebrating my wedding anniversary this weekend, to think about all I’ve been through with my husband and how much stronger we are now.
Grateful for all of you and wishing you all strength today whatever life has in store

Well the bullying incident unfortunately hasn't been resolved, big sigh, my heart is heavy and I'm at a cross between angry and sad. My g.son got in from school yesterday and told his mummy and daddy that the main culprit, Yusef, had text his friends and told them how he made him pee his pants. When g.son walked into the classroom several of them made comments about him peeing his pants and others gave him dirty looks!! I could cry, I have cried. Our boy is gentle and kind and despite his difficulties he is a very happy and loved child. My daughter and husband are not sure now of the best way forward with this, they will obviously contact the head teacher on Monday because this has to stop and stop now, but they are also now worried because g.son's year go away on a residential trip next Wed, Thur & Fri and he's been really looking forward to it. Mr D.B wants to go round to Yusef's house and have words with his parents but it's not his place to do that.

I haven't forgotten about you Fearless, just got a busy couple of days. Happy anniversary lovely lady xxxx

Thank you so much for your kind words Numblady, they mean a lot. xx

Grateful to wake up sober, hangover and guilt free.
Grateful for the Serenity prayer, I've needed it this last couple of days.
Grateful my live in g.son's mummy has come over from Spain for the weekend, he hasn't seen her since beginning of Feb ( long story).
Grateful my daughter has patience, empathy and understanding.
Grateful for my little Lulu cat sat beside me purring ( though I wasn't so grateful yesterday when she killed a beautiful little blue *it).
Grateful for coffee.
Grateful for the gratpack.
Grateful to vent here.
Grateful to each and every one of you. xx

Daisy so sorry.

I guess i’m grateful that I’ve woken up feeling very bad. Raging headache, nausea. Like a hangover but without the drinking. It helps me remember why I don’t drink. Not sure why I feel this way other than maybe a bad night of sleep and a lot of stress. But going to lay back down.
Grateful for all of you. Back tomorrow in hopefully better shape!

Numblady - Do you suffer from allergies this time of year? High pollen count around here & MrHev is feeling it.
Daisy - It's disgusting that the bully wasn't remorseful & didn't take what he did seriously. Praying for something good to come out of this.
Grateful for a beautiful, sunny day finally. But that means yard work. Hmm.
Grateful for the birds to wake me up - even if they are a bit noisy & demanding.
Grateful for the ability to chase away negative thoughts.
Grateful for this lovely group of friends.
