Grateful the weather here didn’t get too severe and my son’s trip went off as planned.
Grateful to be working from home and taking my time this morning (in anticipation of long night at the capitol).
Grateful my husband has discovered a love of cooking over these years where our general division of labor has been me dealing with the kids and he preparing meals and cleaning.
Grateful for another beautiful sober day.
Grateful for how things you’ve heard so many times can resonate and be meaningful depending on where you are emotionally. For me this was a post about playing the tape forward on the newcomers forum. Such a simple concept. So necessary. Yet so easy to forget.
Grateful to be here and sober with all of you.

Grateful Numblady’s son’s trip went well

Grateful to no longer feel the need to keep up with the Joneses
Grateful for honesty

Grateful Luckyrina has joined or rejoined us as the case may be.
Grateful my son gets home from his trip today.
Grateful I got a reprieve from what was supposed to be a late night at work last night.
Grateful someone showed me how to put .gifs in my texts.
Grateful for what seems like a less compressed schedule today.

Grateful to be sober today.
Grateful to not even have thoughts about drinking.
Grateful the school run went smoothly.
Grateful to drop my mum off in town.
Grateful for warm clothes, it's so cold out there today.
Grateful for a warm house.
Grateful for a phone call from my daughter.
Grateful for fresh strawberries and cantaloupe melon.
Grateful to be eating healthily today ( I will be slim one day)

Grateful to finish a painting early this morning
Grateful for my energy level. There’s a lot on my plate today
Grateful for a healthy breakfast and coffee, of course
Grateful for my cats
Grateful I don’t have to hide anything anymore and don’t have the anxiety that comes with secrecy. The pest control guy is coming today and will be inspecting attic spaces, one of which leads from the master walk-in closet where I used to have a secret bar
Grateful for sick man and serenity prayer. I am making a point to think of these every morning, even when I expect it’s going to be a good day. You just never know what life will throw your way
