I bumped up the ArgenTenaTimes but it is in women in recovery. I have asked to have it moved...don't care where...but it is not really a topic specifically for women.
Just sort of a fantasy get-away.
I Like the rice recipe RaeRae.
I also like cooked macaroni...elbow, shells, whatever with canned tomatoes in them. I add a bit of sugar. I can use it as a side dish...or I don't mind just eating that.

My mom used to make something like that-tomatoes, elbows, and hamburger, she called it goulash. I was raised on it.

My mom's Norwegian-we're talking bland food.
They eat something called 'fried blood' it's kind of like that blood sausage you were talkin about in your travels.
My mom would make this stuff called Romegrot..basically its paste with sugar LOL
Its cheap, though...
NORWEGIAN ROMMEGROT
1 qt. milk
1 c. half & half
1 c. butter
3/4 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. butter
Sugar & cinnamon
Heat milk and half and half; do not scorch; set aside.
In large, heavy pan, melt 1 cup butter and add flour, cook about 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
Pour in milk, cook, stirring frequently until mixture bubbles and thickens. Stir in sugar. Pour 1/4 cup melted butter on top. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Serve warm. Makes 1/2 gallon.
NOTE: This may be kept warm and served from a crock pot. Use low heat. Add butter, sugar and cinnamon after mixture is put in crock pot. Rommegrot is traditionally served at Christmas.

hey yall, just dropping in again, i was just reading that raerae, is gonna roll cigs, funny i'v been doing that for 5 yrs now, well, i honestly think that those kinds are stronger than the rest, don't know, but after awhile, regular cigs just didn't serve the purpose and before i knew, i was only smoking roll ups.
i've been smoking 34 yrs and now, since the surgery and phneumonia, i've been told, no more smoking. today, i've been smoke free since the 16th of june. i guess i need prayer for strength to follow through on this too.

good luck with the not smoking Teke.
have you noticed your sense of smell coming back?
i actually put my mind to it and quit once for 6 weeks-big deal for me.
if you get a craving, just tell yourself to wait 5 min...then five more...ect.
I chewed gum and carrots like crazy! the return of my sense of smell was so intense!

yelp anvil, still here with my daughter, its so comfortable here until i hope every minute that i can stay a little longer, she works at night and is going back tonight, first night back to work since i've been out the hospital, my 2 are here and well be here to stay with her two little ones. so i guess its kind of working out for the both of us.
you know rae, until just now, i had no idea why i could smell everything so much stronger, i'm amazed at what stale cigs smell like and i told my daughter that i don't think that i want to smell like cigs any longer. they all laughed at me, i never was able to smell too good before i guess.
yes the dog is my 'PRECIOUS'. she is 4 yrs old, an australian sheppard mixed with retriever. she just had 7 babies, we gave them all away escept i and its adorable too. i posted them somewhere but that was about a month or two ago`

Loves! Help! I have gotten a bunch of new baby pics...for the life of me I can't get them to post. I have read and re-read and followed the instructions?
What is so hard about this?
Any tips?

The other thing i started to notice is that i fell asleep at night easier.
Plus i just had this feeling of being in control of myself. I loved that the best.

0h i did that too a few yrs back rae, i quit for 9 months and thought that i'd smoke just one, well that was about 7 yrs ago, and its taking me this long to get here again. now i thought that i would try one, once i got home but who am i fooling, i'm an addict and i know better than to think that i can do just one of anything. so i guess i think that since i do have a heads up on the quitting, i'd better try all i know to stick to what ihave, at least i pray that i can anyway,
