Love and fear are emotions we as human are able to express. All the others are just sub-categorical emotions.
For example, on love's side there is joy, peacefulness, happiness, forgiveness, and gratitude.

On the other hand, fear reflects: hate, depression, guilt, inadequacy, discontentment, prejudice, anger, attack, etc.

Love and fear can not coexist. Where one is, the other can't be also.

The one will leave immediately, should the other...

To the Chocoholics out there.

My name is Forrest and I'm addicted to chocolates.lol (from Forrest Gump)

Talk about switching addicitons. I am an alkie/addict in recovery. But my addiciton manifests itself in many other ways.

The first couple months in recovery I would drive all over town and stock up on Chex Chocolate Turtle mix.

All I ate for 3 months was Chex mix daily.

I got over that and then I became addicted to AA...

Promise

You promised to make me happy, to take all the hurt away.

You promised me a lot of things
just to make me stay.

You promised that you would be my friend,
to help heal the pain.

You promised that you would keep me safe
my shelter from the rain.

You promised you would be there
every night and every day.



You also promised other things that you forgot to say....

Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand
new ending .

As much as I may wish to make a new beginning, some part of me resists doing
so as though I was making the first step toward disaster .

But I have to walk through my fear everyday and trust God. I have to keep moving .

No, this is not the beginning of a new chapter in my life; this is the beginning of a new book!
