One Year & Over Part 31
Morning Wolfie, morning overs.
I will look that film up itchy, looks good. I agree, wizard of oz is timeless, it seems like it will be around forever.
Sun's up this morning, think we're going walking later then maybe going for lunch somewhere. Though I do like making lunch myself, it's just for a change.
The birds are grateful for their food Wolfie , loads a sparrows in the bush keep popping to the tree and then darting back with their food to the bush.
Hope you have a good Sunday

We have captured a bluetit & a ring neck dove but want to catch all the birds but not sure which ones migrate ?
I'm unsure which migrate, I still seem to get all the same birds in though so it's a bit of a mystery. When you think of how they fly all the way to their new home, such small creatures, they're pretty amazing.
Nature, it's amazing but seems so cruel, too!

Yo! Glad the weather has not been as bad as the forecast seemed to indicate - still it has been wet and windy and most definitely the most winter-like so far here.
Good meeting this afternoon - more attended than I thought given the weather, which is good. Been a while since there have been a 'whole load' of newcomers, which makes me think that it won't be long until a whole load do turn up - swings and roundabouts and all!
Happy Monday for all overs tomorrow

I dumped The Man Who Is Not My Boyfriend. He got really awful. I stopped being able to take it. Or wanting to. I feel better already, I can't believe what a depressing force he was in my life. I miss him but he's not ruining my day, like he usually is. I don't have to deal with him anymore.
That was yesterday. Today I'm keeping busy and moving on with life. My place is coming together. I salvaged some pretty poplar stumps that someone had left in their lane, and am using them as tables, they look great, very modern. It's funny that a raw, free tree stump can look stylish, haha.
It's bright and sunny here, a bit of frozen snow on the ground. Was -9 this morning.
I had my landlord fix the settings on the furnace and it makes a big difference. It's been kind of cold and it's because the fan was set too high....also some friends who I know through work who happen to be neighbours are coming over to assess my woodstove which as I mentioned I have been having issues with.
I had brunch with friends in town today (I love saying that). These are all things that would not have happened if I had been messed up over the guy, as I usually am it seems these days.
Taking care of myself.
I'm going to be doing a lot more of that now.
Enjoy the remainder of the weekend Overs.
Saskia congrats on 15 months.

Sask, congrats on your 15 months clean and sober and for sharing your journey along the way...as well as the continued encouragement that you offer to others. BRAVO!
Dee, that sounds like quite the mishap. Glad to read that you are on the mend. I remember that when I had a cracked sternem it was a bummer to laugh, cough or sneeze...and I was given a pillow to squeeze when that happened. Drive carefully.
Thanks to all for wishing me well on my somewhat strange 29 months last week.
A long weekend is wrapping up for me. Yesterday was a gym class at 7am followed by a trip to Pgh to watch my alma mater get spanked in football by Notre Dame. I invited an AA old timer friend that lives and breaths ND football...like Rudy's Uncle, or something. Anyway, we did have a nice day and time. We hit our regular Sat night mtg on the way home then.
Today was filled with tossing out, placing in storage, selling or deciding what kitchen stuff band electronics makes it to Florida. Progress has been significant this past week and I am starting to smell and see that beach. The worst part of late is that my house is in a constant state of disarrays. Small price to pay for the eventual outcome though.
Enjoy the week ahead, Over's.
