I've just been up a and e. I stapled my finger at work (stop laughing) happy to be sober today. 4 weeks ago tonight I drank my last drink. I woke up/came to with blood streaming down my face, bruises all over my body and absaloutly no recollection of what I'd done. I then drove my car

Had a wheatgrass shot at health food store vs green smoothie to try something new, it was disgusting. Tastes like dirt. I am not drinking today but I am really pissed off I cannot!!! What is this day 22 Patricia? JL, sinusitis hurts, sorry.. Hate fevers.too, remind me of withdrawals. Anyone else have pissed off moments that we cannot drink? Yes... militargh , pass landmine hat.

I and my family have the southern drawl , as well. My mother was raised in South Carolina . All the ladies sound just like Scarlett Ohara from gone with the wind. It's SEVERE.

There really are generations of moonshiners in tn, nc, and n ga areas of these mountains, though it's very reserved nowadays. You should hear the stories though. High high entertainment value !

Day 22. Hugs to those whining or having nasty cravings right now. Get through them sober and they WILL pass and become less intense and less frequent over time! I can say this from personal experience having 6 years or more sober in the past....
I've been craving cigs more than booze. This Saturday I'm going to a music festival w a sober friend. Glad to be going with her because she's a good friend and it's so nice to hang with others who aren't getting wasted (my good friends that like music festivals are mostly hard drinkers). Guess I need to find more friends like her!

Glad to hear everyone is doing well.
I have to laugh at all of the accent chat. I am far from a southern accent. I have a strong NY accent.....specifically Long Island. I use correct grammar and sentence structure but my r's are very NYish!
