I am grateful that I went to OA in High Point this morning and picked up a 30-day chip. I hadn't been to that meeting in over a year. Now I need to count on the calendar and see when I will have 60.

Also grateful that my mom and I went around this afternoon and looked at some houses for sale. My husband and I really need our own place. So I'm finally starting to put some effort into finding one. Yea!!

I am grateful that it is sunny again. I am grateful that even though I have to move into my old house, I am getting a new kitchen and new carpet and new linolium <sp?. I hope Eddie, Richie and Nogard are all having a beautiful day.

I am grateful that my husband and I finally actually started looking at houses for sale today!! It's about time.

And I'm grateful for an overall good productive day. I went to a meeting, tanned, lifted weights, and did laundry in addition to the house-hunting. Sigh...I'm tired now.

Just found this thread. I fell off my bicycle this AM, bumps and bruises, but otherwise OK. I made an AA meeting, got some rest, and am greatful I did'nt damage myself more.

Well, folks, twenty-four hours from now I will be on my way to my Board hearing. I colored my hair last night to try to cover up the pink parts and now the pink is kind of orange. LOL. Guess I'll have to use something darker today.

Thank you, L and Kevin!! Hey, has anyone seen Danielle lately? I've been missing her.

I am grateful for a good day at work. It was the new pharmacist's first full day and he did great. I have mentioned that he is in the Program, right? We even got out on time, which is unusual for a Monday.

I am also grateful that I did get my hair fixed. Thank HP for Clairol Natural Instincts Cinnaberry!! LOL.

I am grateful that my pants need a belt today!! The pants I bought recently, that I am wearing for my hearing, don't quite fit because I've lost weight. Yippee!!

I am grateful that the hearing is almost here, even though I am also apprehensive. I will just be so glad to have it over with, you know? Keep those prayers going, y'all!! Thank you!!

My washing machine broke.......I am grateful that I have a friend down the street who lets me use his machine. In the "before" days I would wash clothes in the tub and then hang them around the house to dry. It was hard work.

Still here Eddie! It's nice to be missed. I feel all warm and gooey on the inside!

I'm grateful for every day I have sober! I've started a new thing with my praying and instead of asking for God to guide my thoughts and actions, I thank God for guiding my thoughts and actions. Sunday at church there was a guest speaker and she gave me that idea. She said that while she was growing up and her family was having dinner, instead of saying "please pass this or that"...they would thank the person for passing the food...and then, viola, it was there in front of them. Kinda like everything we need is already provided for us...once we make the affirmation of gratitude--it materializes.
So, I'm grateful for God giving me clarity of His will for me in my life and the power to carry it out.

Voila! So it is.

I am grateful for all your thoughts and prayers, L, Richie, Danielle, and Kevin!! And Danielle, thank you for sharing that cool idea, too!!

I am grateful to still have my license and my job!! The hearing was a VERY close call, folks. The Board was very unhappy with me. I'm still in kind of a state of shock, I think, over what happened.

I keep having to post my gratitude 'cause I'm so upset.

I am grateful for being ABLE to get up early these days. I used to have a terrible time getting out of bed. Now, I get up shortly after five and go work out most mornings. I feel that's quite an accomplishment.

And I am grateful for being able to work with a personal trainer once a week, namely today. It helps me get to the gym even when I don't want to go and gives me accountability to someone other than myself. I'm glad I can afford it right now.
