Last night I went to a meeting and there was a guy there who had to go to court today for driving drunk and almost killing his son. He was so full of fear. People were trying to help him out but he was really just stuck in fear. I am so grateful that I don't have problems like that. My life is good my problems are GOLDEN problems.

It seems like so long ago now.I was getting some urges today but they were easy to put aside.I am grateful for that.

I am grateful for a good check-up at the doctor's office yesterday. My blood pressure was really good, especially compared to the first time I visited them. I am very curious about my cholesterol, though.
Also grateful that I joined the tanning salon across the street from work. Now I can go on my lunch hour again. It seems to make a difference in how I feel.

I haven't heard about the job yet. 
I am not giving up though. Today I am grateful that most of the people I hang out with are so nice and have been sober a long time. My firend Bob has been clean and sober for 30 Years! He has Hep C. They just put him on the transplant list. None of the treatments have worked and he is dying. I am scared that he can work a solid program of recovery for 30 years and there can still be deadly consequences for what he did so long ago. I am grateful that I escaped IV drug use without getting Hep C or AIDS. I feel empathy for those not so lucky.

I am SO grateful that I choose to NOT fight at every invite and that I am learning to stand up for myself without fighting

It's a ccm/new wave/surf rock/country/alternative band.I normally don't listen to ccm but I make an exception for these guys.One of my favorite bands ever.Hard to find their albums though.

Sorry about your friend. Hugs and prayers being sent for both of you. I worry that I've done something to my vascular system and/or heart and that I could still have a clot or a stroke or something. Now that I actually have a doctor again, I guess I should talk to them about that.

Wow! They actually let me get three good nights of sleep even being on call. Yesterday was busy enough, but not too bad. I didn't get to go to Metabolic Effect, though, so I went and did a spinning class this morning. 
I really don't like spinning, but it's still a great workout.

Well, I got news from the Board yesterday and it was NOT good. They want to suspend my license and/or take me out of dispensing, which means I would be out of my job. This really sucks!! I need to post my gratitude for sure.
I am grateful for my attorney. He is really trying to fix this mess. His son, who works in the office, is a good friend from high school and has been very supportive, too.
Also grateful for the support I'm getting from NA friends. I've been sharing in meetings about what's going on and receiving lots of love and feedback. I'm especially indebted to the Courage to Change home group.

Lots of prayers coming your way. I am grateful this morning that I am able to have compassion for others. I didn't really used to be able to feel for others at all. I didn't really care anymore at one point. I am glad that has changed. I am keeping you all in my thoughts.
