I don't think I got the job I wanted. Back to the drawing board I guess. I am grateful for the courage to not give up. I have been a little demoralized the last couple of days. It's hard......not as hard as being a junkie was though.

Good luck on the fence Ritchie. Get some good rest Nogard. I am going to go chair a meeting at my Mom's old homegroup. Yikes!!! I am scared. Thank goodness she won't be there (she moved) but a lot of her friends will be. I am grateful for the boards this morning.
Where is Eddie????? The last post I got from her on my thread was on the 8th!!!!! I don't think she has posted on this thread since then either. I hope she is ok. I am worried about her job stuff. Happy Weekend.

Sorry to give you all a scare!! I've just been busy, that's all...and tired. Got some GOOD news yesterday. The Board finally figured out that they OK'd me to work, so I should be alright in my job. Whew!! There still will probably be a hearing, but it shouldn't be like a trial deal like it was going to be. I'm supposed to sign a disciplinary action and that should clear things up pretty much...I hope.
I am VERY grateful for the good news yesterday!! Grateful, and relieved. I was so anxious all week. I think the stress was really getting to me because I went home early on Thursday and slept and slept and slept.
Also grateful for a nice Saturday morning. I had a good workout and tanned, too. I used this lotion that has peppermint oil in it, which creates a neat cooling effect. This afternoon I'll probably go for a walk with my mom and do some shopping. I definitely need a nice relaxing day.

It turned out to be a really good day. I did go for a walk and shopping with my mom. Then I took a nap, made a real meal for supper, and went to my home group for a great meeting on self-will. Now I'm about ready for bed. Have a beautiful night, everyone!!

I am grateful that I went to a meeting this morning and shared about all this mess, especially about my resentment towards "that man." People let me know that I am doing well and that helps. I still need to pray for the guy, though, I guess.
Also grateful to be getting some bills paid. I had kind of let them stack up, which is NOT my habit. It is a relief to get them out of the way.

I'm grateful for having such a good day with my daughters.We went to the Virginia Marine Science Museum today.It was pretty nice.Saw sharks and sea turtles and we got to pet the stingrays.Then when I got home I jammed with my son for an hour or so.I'm so glad I don't hide in my room getting high anymore.This life is so much better now!
