Yeah haha!
It was really fun, I look forward to seeing him again!
He's got it together as well- owns a condo, has another he's rents out to tenants, and has a good steady job.

I feel a little panic because he said " goodnight Babe"
Feels a little girlfriendy but I'll chill for now.

I'll go out with him a few more times and see how it goes.

Dating sober is good- better.
he didn't drink either which was nice, he said he drinks but not very often.

This is one of my favourites- have I already posted it? If so, it won't hurt to listen to it again!

Ok, the line has been crossed.

I bought a really nice expensive pair of revlon tweezers; because I have a single black hair that grows on my chin that I need to pull out every few weeks.
I went looking for my tweezers- couldn't find them; I knew exactly where to look.
Just as I suspected my brother swiped them and they were in his room.
Oh hell no!!

Hi middy!!

It's not pot calling kettle anything Jen! You KNOW you're a good person and your stuff is just quirky and quirky = interesting! You're not evil or sinister or anything! I'm always suspicious of a guy who's too sweet or too nice or too normal. There's always more to the story.

Jen...I keep my tweezers in my purse at all times! I feel like tweezers are personal items and when you find the perfect ones you have to guard them lol!

I HOPE there's more to the story Brynn, you know me ( better than almost anyone actually haha)
He did say he used to party a lot, and do a lot of drugs before he decided to grow up and make money; so that made me feel better.

Hi middy! I love our class! Big shoe was here too!

I just get stressed with everything.
Emails, phone calls, deadlines, staff schedules, payroll, invoices.
Then I leave a place at midnight and I drove home and think " did I shut the water off at that last place? I have to shut the water off for insurance purposes in case of a flood- what if that place floods because I forgot to turn the water off and a pipe bursts?
I should go back even though it's midnight and I have to get up at 6 am- but if I go back I won't get home till 1:30- and I need some sleep because I have work and school."
And when papers are due or exams I nearly lose my grip haha
Drinking would take me from 60-0 in minutes; I still haven't learned to manage my stress yet, so I'm just smoking a lot of cigarettes right now.

Then I'll wake up in the morning and answer emails, make phone calls and deal with everything else that comes up.
I'm getting overwhelmed without the alcohol, but it's manageable.
I'll either need to find some zen state or cut back on work.
But I pay my tuition myself, and I obviously like to travel.
If I cut back on work I'll need to get a loan or stop travelling ( both of which I don't want to do)

I sometimes wish I had a partner to take some of the weight off- even someone who was there to help with laundry, tidy up the house, pay a bill or cook a meal for me like Brain does for his wife when she's busy.
I have to EVERYTHING and I get stressed- I haven't even done dishes in 4 days

Rant over
Sounds to me like you are doing way too much. Maybe give up the traveling til after school is done so you can cut back on work a little. And....there is nothing wrong with taking a school loan...we've all done it to lessen the load. Stress can get you, jsbodhi. ...there is only so much we can take before we crash and burn.

lecture for the night is over.

Behan...I totally agree with what you said about managing stress. In the first couple of years we have to be so careful,. I think it's the key to staying sober...one of them anyway.

Weasel! I got the ribs. Did you say you put onions in the crockpot too? I'm ready for the morning with barbecue sauce and the ribs. Yum.
