Yeah haha, I feel like comfort eating a bunch of carbs- but that's not even a road I'm going to begin to let myself go down.

I hope you're feeling better xo

Oh yeah, I got a date with skype hottie tomorrow.
I like him so far.
Though I'm kinda worried I might be really into him because he reminds me of my Irish ex that I lived with.
They look the same- tall, black hair, blue eyes, big muscles- they are both the type that's up at 5:30 am to go to the gym, military, earthy, funny, kind, strong, solid, loyal type.
That was the only boyfriend I had that I was truly happy with and had a really great relationship with. ( until the last few months of it)
He was great, but then he started to boss me around after a couple years; he broke into my stuff and found dirty letters I'd started writing back and forth with an inmate...
Haha- omg! Why am I such a villain!?!
Alright, off to bed.

Also the other day my neighbour said something on purpose to make me angry.
When I asked him why he did that, he said to get a reaction out of me and make me show feelings to make sure I'm not a sociopath.
What?! I'm not even close to a sociopath, he doesn't even really know what that means.

Anyway, I'm not liking where this is going with him.
Ok, I'm definitely going to bed now even if I don't sleep well.

Knock'em dead Sao!

Morning everyone.

Lazy today. I don't have much going on at work for tasks at the moment. Toying with working from home. But better I be around folks. Oh well.

Slow cooked ribs today. Put them on just before I leave. Love coming home to the aroma of cooking without all the work. Onion, ribs, BBQ sauce. Done!

See you all later

K

Just been reading up on the 3 Chernobyl divers the word courage doesn't do justice for what those 3 men done

That story reminded me of the grandfather I never met he died with a few others in the bottom of a ship so that more lives could be saved

What those 3 men done in Chernobyl though considering what was at stake is a miracle apparently I read one guy was holding an underwater light that failed so they were doing what they had to do in the dark in highly radioactive water releasing valves - Heroes 5000%

It's people like those I deeply respect & look up to thanks for showing me that Sao

They were amazing weren't they! They maybe saved millions of lives, definitely hundreds of thousands

Put my silly little fears in perspective - it's done and went fairly well - no walk outs, no standing ovation. I will not be volunteering again though

Hope you are feeling a bit better today Mecx

Good morning. Glad your talk went well Sao.

Jen, that's rough. It's too bad about the neighbor. And the garbage on the porch.

good morning everyone - afternoon/evening...
Hope your day is better M, and that Sao got through unscathed...
lot's o food talk already... yesterday I didn't realize missus had to work so I made an emergency meal, fortunately I already had a roast UNthawed.
So I cut a few slices from it and made venison steaks, baked taters and green beans... today it's either cooking as a roast or more steaks - it's a prime cut of meat - vealison too... and I need to go to store for onions and like items...

yep, those Chernobyl guys were really heroes in the true sense of the word...
wife actually knew one of the liquidators... the whole thing is sad beyond belief... in a couple weeks will be the 30th anniversary of the event... I'm sure history channel or one of them will have something about it...

well, it's field day here at the compound... also hoping to sneak a few pounds of garden waste into the trash for the landfill... more like bad dirt actually

almost forgot - wow on the hail storm... remind me to pack my hard hat any time I head out to the midwest or thereabouts in my car... scary - those things can kill ya

have a good day, hope everything is okay in Brynnland

later
