Hopping on

Gilmer please accept my condolences too, i'm glad he went peacefully

Welcome MLD51, Surrender2win ,Melina and any other people new to the thread

Bim you are right about this forum being gentle - I occasionally post on a football forum and people there are so savage that it's funny (I am deliberately provocative to get people going)

Mesa - I have Argon in my windows, they are supposed to be guaranteed for 10 years but I have my doubts that anything is that airtight. Well done for getting yours for a bargain

Tube strike today in London - not a huge inconvenience for me as it means a 40 minute walk in nice weather but it is a major hassle for some and I resent the early start. Plus they are taking the p*ss out of passengers

Hi Liberated!

Hope you feel better mecanix! Why is it we always get sick for the weekends?!? Blah!

I never read self help books but I finally broke down and bought a book about boundaries. I didn't realize just how poor my boundaries were! Really eye opening! I've got a lot of work to do.

Jackyl - The Lumberjack. Featuring bare chested men and a chain saw solo. I remembered this from way back when.

Oh my goodness, Gilmer; I am so very sorry. I agree; God showed your Dad the depth of His great mercy.

Much love to you.

Happy sober Thursday evening! Full full week here for me. I am ready for Friday but honestly I forgot to look up to notice until now.

Work is going great. I was asked to work with a team in the Netherlands and I am avoiding taking a trip. I said I will work remote for now. Just a few week deal but I suspect could be more. Anyway. Got a lot done today.

The weather here is amazing. Cool right now in the 70s and perfect. I think Saturday I gonna take a shot at some new personal fitness goals. See how that goes!

I am planning on attending my first SMART recovery meeting tomorrow. I will also report back in on that.

Think I will relax to some candy crush. Till I get stuck on a level. Lol

Will be around!

K

Factoids.... I joined roughly 70,000 members ago. Wowz!!

I was online and in bad shape with Mecanix trying to help me the day we hit the most online users back on 8/27/12. The system crashed and I was so upset.

SR... Still as amazing as ever!
