Yeah, it came together perfectly, really. Even my husband was slightly impressed today once he saw them all together. He really likes it now. I got the dishes on sale at Macy's, so not a bad deal at all. Sale plus another discount. Turned out to be quite a deep discount. I am so happy with it. It's the set I feel I've been waiting for, lol. As corny as that sounds, it's true. I told him I want to collect pieces to add to the collection ... and he looked worried, lmao.

Ha! Even better they were on sale! The neat thing about that set is you could even add solid color pieces...esp that gorgeous green on the edging.....which, I see, is the exact color of the matting on the prints!
Oh...and nothing corny about any of it! Your patience paid off!! ❤️

I like the blue in the plates, too. It's a French blue or chambray blue. I found a linen table runner and napkins in that shade of blue. There was a sage green, and of course, white. So now I have to decide which of those colors to get. I love the white linen the most, but scared it would yellow over time. So I've been looking into how to keep them white. There is this liquid called "bluing" that has something it in to counteract the yellowing. I might get that.

Very nice plates, SoberP! I'm glad they arrived intact. Lovely with the prints. Yes, I've heard bluing keeps things white. I have some but haven't used it yet. Let me know what you think. Oxyclean works on whites too if you soak them.

Sao, I think I'll skip Canvey island. I just cleaned out the cat boxes and mouse cage. I've had enough animal waste for the day.

Children in bed now. Daughter was freaking out about a moth in the house again. I told her they are like night time butterflies. They do pollinate stuff. I still think they're cool. The only ones I don't like are clothes moths. I've had a lot of wool items damaged.

Winding down at this end. Day off tomorrow. Kids lobbying to not go to camp. Tomorrow they go. I'll take them out Friday. Meeting tomorrow.

Oops, I see those pics of the linen napkins didn't post, and I'm too tired to try it again.
