It was a slow day. I can't wait for the wife to ask me what I did when she wakes up. "I was basically standing by waiting for you to wake in case you needed anything immediately." True answer but it never flies. Procrastinate? Me?
Well it looks like my robin problem was solved early this am. No details, let's just say he picked the wrong jeep to make the spare tire mount his personal toilet.

Just finishing the final touches on my daughter's 5-story dollhouse. It is pretty elaborate. I suppose I am not a person who does anything half-measure.

I promised myself I would start running today and I really don't feel like it. I used to run 4 miles everyday before I started drinking again. I will probably start by a lap around the block since I am pretty out of shape.

I have plenty to keep me busy today because I have a couple of upcoming writing deadlines that I have to work on right away. I don't want to fall back into the pattern of last-minute rushing.

Sorry for my crrrazy enthusiasm...I think I am floating in the pink clouds.

Della..I got a chuckle over the thought of drinking Gain...I feel the same way about my perfume.
This day flew by....I rented a movie and didn't get a chance to see it yet.
Got turkey meatloaf in the oven with roasted vegetables. Can't wait. ..
Pouncer.....you are so right about life being easier without alcohol and "finally being off the hook." We don't have to worry about it and all that goes with it, as long as we don't drink. This site keeps me reminded.

So, I head over to the local Farm & Ranch Store for a few items. This fancy programmable LED Sign outside proclaims 'Chicks For Sale'. Man, now there's a Sale this '60s Geezer can get behind!

Welp, I guess this won't be the first time in Sobriety I misinterpret something... Damn! And, they were all Blondes, to boot!

Grilled Chicken on the Barbee tonight in the Rain w/my fab Chicken Wing Sauce left over from last night. Baked Potatoes. Me on this Laptop reading stuff here, and taking care of House Sale Business details. Da Wife watching 'The Good Wife' on the Tube. She's hooked. Da Pooch snoring away on his Bed, and yelping softly while he dreams. Too funny...

Movies were great.
Pouncer, It is nice. Now I don't walk around all the time worrying that what I did or didn't do is waiting to jump out and bite me.

Oh I forgot to mention. ..I took my wine glasses to the recycling bin today. Even my favorite one! I left them on a ledge in case anyone wanted them. I guess I've been holding on to them just in case I changed my mind. ....so I feel it's major that I let them go.i don't want to change my mind.

Good for you Happy!!! I still have my crystal set because it was all a wedding gift and I am saving it for one of my kids. But I drank vodka out of a water glass or right from the bottle so the crystal doesn't hold any memories for me.

MM don't let Brain see those little cuties.

Sounds like everyone had a good weekend. Church for us then family grocery shopping, Mr. Ruby included. Always more expensive that way.

Afterwards the kids and I dropped in on an earth day thing at our local art center but the activities were geared towards younger children. We walked through the park on the way back and they played with a bunch of other kids for almost an hour. Then home. Pot luck supper. Have to clear out leftovers.

Working on laundry now. Sigh. Monday. Ick.

Had a fab weekend taking Bmac Jr. to a Slipknot - Godsmack rock festival over on the west coast. We had a blast. 8 hours of hard rock bands outdoors in the 90 degree heat...I'm beat! Spent probably $50 on gatorade at the place. Great father/son memories made. Taking tomorrow off because I can.
