Hey VC and Ken,
Personally I don't see this as a competition, with a scorecard and daily tallies. This bus offers me support and fellowship with people who are struggling with their alcohol use or continued non-use. I do love the daily check-in plan, just no numbers.

I have mixed feelings on the number thing, but probably the reason I do is because I don't wanna feel like more of a loser than I already would, if I caved. Having said that, I get the accountability thing...it's incentive, and incentive is good. So, what the hey...count me in. Day 11 here. And no worries November peeps...if you fall, we'll always be here to prop you back up for another go at it. No judging...that's not what SR is about anyway.

Day 16...got a new laptop macbook pro for my b-day yesterday. First time I felt like I really deserved my gift. I was able to accept without any guilt wahtsoever. It was a great day.
I have to bring my old modemn in to transfer my stuff which means I will be without a computer for a few days...lord help me so I just wanted to check in before I check out for awhile. Take care...talk to you soon!

Gingerblue..yeah, the thoughts creep in. Mine are at night too, around 8 or 9:00, as I never drank during the day. Kids are in bed, everything is done..time for "me" time. Unfortunately I like to get drunk during "me" time. It's a tough habit to break, but it's breakable.

You know what, Vicious, trying just doesn't cut it.
With that, please take me off your class list, I don't think this style is beneficial for me. I will find other areas of support on this site that will work out better for me. Best of luck with your class.
