I always used t hide my bottles in the rubbish and I felt guilty that I wasn't recycling them. he he.
SO cool that you emptied out that wine dear HY. s ❤️

Did you tell your AV to take a flying leap?
Into a very deep lake?
Without a life jacket?

Sheesh.....cheeky AV.

Hanging out with the cats now. I get bursts of energy then get so depressed minutes later and stare at the wall. Have eaten lots of cup cakes today!! Oh God, please never let me drink again🙏. I don't think I can do this detoxing again. I'm so scattered and don't know what to do with myself. I know it will get better.

So happy to have this place. Not sure if I'm even making since. Wishing everyone a lovely & sober memorial day. 😊

I am not getting much done today. I had planned on gardening again but there are too many mosquitos.
I'm all bitten up. Going to take a hot bath and do some cleaning.
Karen is wise huh?
And totally wonderful......

You are doing so well dear Splash.
It is most likely going to be up and down for a bit re moods and such.
And exhaustion. And staring at the wall thinking what on earth was I just doing?

Hugs form me too. With you all the way. ❤️

Don't do it! Continue to post and remember what day you will be at when you don't drink today! Good luck Citrus! Tell that AV where to go!

I had a huge salad and now I feel like I could hibernate! Some of it must have been hunger that I didn't realize was that bad. Lol. And bit of tired as well.
HALT is very useful when I think to see if I am feeling any of those things. Then of course is the issue of attending to those things and not just reaching for a drink instead.
I am so glad that there is no booze at all in our house now. Hubby has had 1 beer since about a week and a half ago. And the one he did have was found behind the couch when we moved the furniture last week. No telling how long it had been back there! 🤢

Thanks TC - Definitely eat whatever you fancy in the early days. In early part of lockdown I put on half a stone so just lost that. It was only going one way otherwise!

Citrus - don't do it! Stay home. Stay with us on here. I always find eating stops cravings dead.

Splash-it really does get better.

Venus-are you ok? We are here for you as you alwys are for us.x

Goodnight FF. An early night for me too. Feel a bit queezy

Venuscat & ItsMaria- I read a post from the May class but it's too old to allow me to quote it. You were both mentioning arthritis. I've had it before in my thumbs but about a year and a half ago it kind of moved to my shoulders. I thought I had pulled my rotator cuff. I have had pain for well over a year. The doctor prescribed mobic. Not a pain killer but supposed to help. It did a little but I still could not lift my arm above my head without pain. I'm sure my drinking in the past made it worse.

About 3 months ago (before I started drinking again) I started making my own beef bone broth. I cook it for like two days and drink a cup every morning. It has been a lifesaver. Within a week, I noticed some mobility coming back. Over the next month, I started doing yoga again. I drink that stuff daily. I will not miss a cup. It has helped so much. My arms are stronger every day. The flexibility has returned like I could not have imagined. My hubby started doing it at the same time and noticed a huge improvement in his hip pain.

I had just went to see a rheumatologist before Covid started and she was saying the only thing she could do was steroid shots in my shoulders. I read about too many side effects like weight gain and insomnia. Didn't need that.

Just a thought. It has worked for me.
Hope

Day 4. Had a long round of benders this past couple of months. It sucks because you always get out of them with the same messes you were putting off before. But I'm feeling better. I'll take care of some of these messes and go for a walk.
