Freein, ...my work week ends Monday night ( 2am ) ,...technically Tues I guess !?!

It's been nice and quiet here,......typical for this off season.

Heading to Ga. in the late morning to see my dad on his 85th Birthday. Hoping to have an hour to swing by my mom's place afterwards before work tomorrow night.

Up,....I don't blame big insurance for wanting us off the roads,....you know , ...1st quarter profits and all !?

I hope you have a safe trip and good time top.

I found a good thing about living alone and without neighbors close. You can play heavy metal youtube videos as loud as you want through your tv at 1 in the morning. Unfortunately I might have cracked a speaker on my big flatscreen. I'll take it apart later and see if I can repair it.

Wow, that's so motivating, I want to get running again! Thanks for sharing that Mariah. I love the metaphor of running TO something rather than away. How true that is.

Hope you've been able to reclaim your sitting room by now!

Tops, are you snowed in?

I'm off to my parents this morning. See you later.

I hope you all are doing well.

I don't know how to say this other than to just spit it out.

I might have to leave SR ... I don't want to but sometimes you just have to do what you have to.
I won't really be doing this for me but for someone else.
Truthfully I don't know how it will affect me, you all are a major part of my life. I really don't have many friends and the ones I do are usually busy with their families.

On a good note, I think I might have discovered what is causing my depression and total lack of motivation. Unfortunately I don't go back to the doctor until next Monday.

It's bad that I have to diagnose myself, I just hope she listens and seriously considers everything.

I still don't know if I'm going to stay or not but only time will tell. Please don't ask.

I was doing some research online, as usual, and came across some information about depression, having a total lack of motivation along with other symptoms can be caused by low dopamine instead of low serotonin. This would explain why the ssri antidepressant hasn't been helping.

If the doctor doesn't really listen I'm going to insist that she send me to a specialist.

You are right to insist on that Up & so glad you will be following up with she Doc.

No matter what you decide Up, we'll be here to support you. Have a good night!

I had a good day...slept in, cleaned my bathroom which was overdue. Did an ab workout here before hitting the weight room for upper body work out & 20 minutes on the virtual bike & a soak in the jacuzzi. I took a home bake pizza over to oldest Sons & had dinner with my Grandsons & brought home drawings they made me while I was there...my darlings picked teen son up from his Dad's & visited with him for awhile....he is growing into a man before me, talking of his plans after he graduates next year. I need to be preparing myself for that.

GoodMorning Freein.....good afternoon & good night everyone!

You have a good night to Mariah.

I wish I could say that I accomplished half of what you did today.

Ugh ... my motivation has been so bad lately that if I did smoke and buy cigarettes by the pack there are days that I probably wouldn't leave the house.

UP, I hope you stay with SR too. It's a lifeline as far I'm concerned. You must do what you think is best for your own life, and we'll support you as much as much as we can.

Hope this new information you've discovered will lead to some effective treatment for you soon. That would be a real breakthrough for you.

I hope you decide to stay on this journey with us UP.

I need to get moving this week, I've been off to a slow start today. I've enjoyed the day, but I can't really say I've managed to get much done.

I've ordered a couple of Krishnamurti' s books, they should arrive later in the week. I already have one of his books, that I try to read every year - it's a way for me to track my spiritual progress. The first time I read it, I couldn't understand any of it, now I can grasp some of his ideas, and I'm thinking I can move on to more of his writings. The books will be a good investment, as the last one has taken a good 5 years to contemplate, these next 2 should see me through for another 10 years!

I've also decided to smarten myself up a bit - no more "gardening gear" unless I'm actually gardening. No more slopping around the house in illfitting hand-me-downs. I need some 're-styling. Look out world, I'm hitting 50 soon, I'll be an adult at last!

Just a little something a friend shared.

Be patient, for life does not move at the speed we may want. Sometimes faster, often more it move slower.
Take the time to enjoy all that life has to offer and show you, for as you get older you will realize the wealth of heart hidden in those little moments of life.

Have a great day!
