I didn't think I would be able to laugh today but I have to admit that I chuckled at pee down, I never heard it put that way. Hope your trip to the dentist is quick and easy.

Hi Kids...just checking in.'Grandaughter dog had her first round of chemo today, wasn't scheduled until a week from today but Son called me early afternoon & asked me to give her some lovin as he told him he would take her elsewhere if they didn't get her in....so they did. She took it really well & came bounding through the door with her tail waggin
I'm sure it will catch up to her by tomorrow & next week will be tougher. Son had been looking at places & ready to get his own place again but that will be on hold while he takes care of his girl. I'm hoping he doesn't anyway as I'm pretty attached to the girl myself & can spend a lot of time with her when he is at work. It was a beautiful, sunny warm day here today & she sun bathed on the back patio by herself for awhile then I went out & pulled grass out from a rock path I have, played some catch grateful she took it well!

Mariah, she sounds like a wonderful companion, so glad the chemo didn't frighten her. Enjoy your sunny day.
Tops, I'll be joining you with the weed pulling this weekend, hoping to dig over the veggy patch in preparation for the best season ever!

Feeling a bit tired and grouchy this morning, just hoping I'm not succumbing to all the cold viruses going round at work. I'll up the vitamin c today, and try to flush it out.

The future is never what we once thought it would be, but we must dream in order to find direction. We must move in order to gain perspective, and we must learn in order to change our destination and our perspective.
When you make the same mistakes over and over, you truly have not learned from them. You can not blame others for your faults if you constantly refuse to make the changes required to improve your life.
Above all else, we must take responsibility for our actions and choices we have made in life...as well as the ones we will make in the future.
Win or lose, more people stand behind you when you are honest and take responsibility for your life.

Stuck close to home again today with the Granddaughter, she seems to be doing fine...spirits seem to be up & we think that she knew something was wrong & feeling happy that someone's doing something for her....yes, she is that smart
My level of motivation is pretty much zip....I'm getting stuff around here done but that's not really what I should be doing. I have the "don't cares" & that's going to have to change.

Remember to play the tape forward obo ... they aren't worth the time you'd have to do.
Count yourself lucky Mariah, my motivation levels are negative, maybe even negative double digits. It's incredible how smart some animals are, sometimes smarter than some humans.
I go to the doctor Monday though, as long as she doesn't want to make me jump through hoops for a month or more.

Morning all. Motivation can be a stinker to get back. Sometimes we feel on roll, and nothing can stop us, then other times it all seems so pointless. The things that get me out of a rut are: exercise, watching the sea or a river flow, watching something inspiring on u- tube, going back to bed for an hour then pretending I'm starting the day afresh with bags of energy (obviously not on a work day ), looking after someone else's needs, doing some housework (oddly). There's more I'm sure, that I've forgotten.
Failing all that, perhaps just labelling the day as a complete "day off" where you luxuriate in doing nothing at all, that's got to be a favourite?
Hope you're both out of this rut soon.
