Heated cabins! Pretty cushy, right? Would be more fun if it were dry, nonetheless. He's both excited and a bit apprehensive.

Good morning all! Mark are you in LA? Phoebe, camping in heated cabins (with plumbing, of course) sounds like my kind of roughing it. Hope you're feeling better Venus. Give that cat a treat Briar. Conquest, what's the date for your wedding? Always nice to see you Wolfie. Arbor, Dee and Leigh, enjoy your day.

Morning everyone. Cold, frosty start of 30 degrees here. Feeling good due to some solid sleep last night.

Good to see you Phoebe.

Have a great day.

Very chilly this am! The boy had to wash some, umm, stuff, off the bottom of his sneakers, lol, and the water froze on the driveway!

I have been a slug and feel depressed. I have yet another road block to exercise. I pulled something in my calf doing nothing but walking. It happened to the other leg too, at a different time, and it got better after a few days. Wonder if I strained things doing one of the new workout videos? Anyway, it is frustrating and if it hangs on another week, I will have to see a doctor about it. I cannot really walk the dog much, which is a problem for him, and his behavior too! It is small stuff, but it is frustrating to try to get healthy and feel like there is always something that fails me in my body.

Hi guys. My Union went on strike today, so I spent all day walking around outside in the cold. We are supposed to strike for two more days. Hopefully it will help, we haven't had a cost of living increase in 7 years, and no one can afford to insure their kids. I actually take home less than I did 7 years ago, and I pay a lot more for healthcare. It's kind of ridiculous.

Honestly, though, I'm not very involved in all that. I'm just there and go where I'm told. I'm kind of absorbed in my own little world right now.

I hope that your union is able to negotiate a good raise for you, Briar.

Seven years without a raise is a long time.

Hello team,

Seven years! Yikes. Hope you get that raise.

Quite the blustery day and now evening. The gusts make the house creak and the high pitched whistling sound dances about. I like it, but my little one...not so much. She's been on edge with all the kids talking at school about Paris.

I'm counting the days to a break from work and a little peak at some mountain scenery.

I hope everyone is having a nice week.

Morning guys.

Hey Briar. At least your part of a union. There's some protection in that. I hope your team gets what you deserve. I keep telling myself and my wife we are lucky to have the health benefits we got with my company even though I pay 50 percent of it. Normally a company like this would only cover the employee, but they have made an exception in my case and have provided it for the whole family. I'm very grateful for that.

Have a great day everyone.

Thanks guys. Packing on the sweaters for day 2. I do hope something comes of this. I'm incredibly fortunate that my husband has a good job in private industry. Many are not so lucky. People can't live on government pay only. This is one of the most expensive places to live in the country. We public servants who keep the county running should at least be able to afford to live here.

Anyway, it's all good. I'm working on my health situation, and I think I'm starting to understand it better. You'd think I'd see all the parallels with drinking and come at it the same way, but it's a lot different, and I feel like I'm back at square one. There's always more to learn, I guess. Every battle I fight makes me stronger and smarter, right?

Hope you all have a good day.
