I guess I have made some progress, because we were invited to go see a band next Monday night, at House of Blues. Husband asked me, our friends(his best buddy) have 2 extra tickets. I said it was the last thing I want to do on a Monday night. Really, it holds no appeal to me to go do that. It might on a weekend, but even ignoring the drinking temptation, it's not what I want to do when I have to get up at 6 the next morning! The other couple only have a 17 yo at home now. They are always going out these days. A new freedom for them.

Phoebe... I use to always feel "old" when I went to bed at a reasonable time on week nights. Now I feel super smart and much healthier. Lol

Yep... Only 3 weeks! I'm going away for a spa trip this weekend with some girlfriends to celebrate. Itll be very tame, only a few of them drink so no worries about that here. If anything, I'm most concerned about what to wear and when to pack because none of that is done yet. Ugh.

My trick for packing is to lay out everything I could possibly need on the bed, and then take about half.

Happy Friday all. I typically pursue a happy attitude.
Have a fun, relaxing weekend Conquest, you deserve it! Phoebe, I would not be up for a late night on a weeknight either. I really like 8 hours of sleep. Many folks get by on little sleep, but I was never one of them. I love a good nap too, and naps never mess with my sleeping later.
