Good morning gang and happy Sunday.

Turn out the lights the party's over. Time to pack up and head home with the goal to be out of here by 10 eastern time. We shall see.

But for now it's coffee time!

How did you like the pumpkin Conquest? I use a tip for tomato paste that will work for the pumpkin. Put on a plate tablespoon at a time, freeze. Bag the frozen tablespoons for later use. DD made a Gingerbread Pumpkin trifle that's still in my fridge. The oats sound a bit healthier, LOL.

Arbor, how did you make out with the car shopping? Mark, an early start should help. Last year I drove DD back to school. We left at six and the trip there was four hours. Took me ELEVEN hours to get back. What a nightmare.
The traffic was obscene. Luckily, she is catching a ride back-will drop her off in a little bit. Hope to get a few miles on foot in after that.

Safe travels, Mark.

My gang is going to try to leave before lunch. Whatever that means, as its hard leaving his family, lol. They hang on and put pressure to stay, but its a 5 hour ride, if no traffic, I will guess at least 6, maybe 7 for them today. It is a horrible ride home on the Sunday following Thanksgiving.

Crisp, cold, bright day here. Just took a stroll and sniffed about every inch of the fields on our street with the dog, lol. Well, he did the sniffing. That boy's gotta be part beagle... But the fresh air felt good! No wind so the cold air was not so bad. About 32 and warming to 40's today. After all the rain yesterday I had to wait for the sun to melt any black ice out there.

Been very lazy with the family gone. Watched a movie last night, Focus, with Will Smith. it was entertaining. Then got partway through a comedy with Ricky Gervais, I forget the name. He is a dead dentist, and a medium between the living and the dead. He is a funny actor. I switched to SNL, which was a rerun, so then, I went to bed. Have a load of laundry going, and made a couple of bracelets.

I should go to the store for a few things, but I hate driving hubby's car. They took mine. I may let it go until tomorrow. Maybe grab a nap this afternoon before they all get back.

My Honda Accord lasted 14 years, 214k when the timing belt broke. My 11 year old Honda Element with 215k sold for 2,500 this year. They go the distance, that's for sure. Best of luck to you!

Thanks. We traded in our 10 year old Civic Hybrid with 150k. Those Hondas go the distance for sure.

Excellent choice Arbor (and Briar! Too funny). There isn't anything better than that new car smell. Mmmmmm

Phoebe, Your bracelets are adorable! I'll take all 3.

Just got home from church and some wedding reception shopping. I got some fabric for the tables, gold leaves with cranberries for cake decorations, and a Christmas wreath for our front door. My life is starting to feel like those romantic comedies...laughing, crying, screaming, all of it. Fortunately, I've saved any outbursts for when I'm by myself. For a small wedding, there are still so many details! And details aren't my thing. I just get overwhelmed. Speaking of which... Nap time. Lol

Luv yall!

The Honda CRV is an awesome choice Arbor.
Congrats on the new car!

phoebe, I really love the first bracelet. They are all pretty, but the first one has my name on it.

Love and good morning all. Posting from my phone which drives me nuts. Back soon.

Thanks guys. I guess it's the number one selling SUV for a reason. Its primarily my wife's as I drive my wrangler, but will make a great family vehicle while the kids are little.

Wrapping up another turkey dinner here with the in laws. My brined turkey came out great. Brb...
