Happy Tuesday kids!
Great to be off work for a few days. Slept an extra hour and feel great!
Hitting the gym, then an event at my little mans school and then to see the Charlie Brown movie! Now that is my idea of partying baby!
Oh, and my shoes shipped, should be here soon! My mojo is right around the corner now, gonna get it back man!!

Hey guys!
Phew! What a day!
It went wrong from the start, I went to the wrong building, where I went to reception to sign in, and they put me in the waiting room where I say for 20 minutes. After this a lady came out to see me and said she didn't have me on the list. We then both realised I was meant to be in the building next door and was now late! Nooooooooooo!
I think it went well. It was tough, long, and I was so nervous, but I did my best and couldn't have done any more. I should hear by Friday.

All good here, people are noticing a difference in me in the local meetings and its really spurred me on to continue this journey. The lovely part now is that Im starting to help newcomers to sobriety and actually contribute to them getting well by being here for them on the phone or over a coffee.
Im blessed, I truly am for being free from the chains that I thought would never let me go. One day at a time, if I do the things I need to do, I no longer need to drink alcohol and for this alcoholic that is a miracle!
Thank you team for continued support and friendship and lets keep growing into the future.

Pink, I think that calamity might be a sign of good luck. Many years ago when I went to take the law bar, I thought I would be fine - I bought my first "professional woman" suit, a briefcase, had my hair and nails done - the whole bit. As I was walking in, feeling quite confident, a bird relieved itself high above, and it landed on my new jacket - a big messy mess of *&^%. I only had a camisole on below the suit, which was dry-clean only....and already starting to stink. I ditched the jacket in the ladies' room trash can, took a deep breath, and walked into the exam with a very professional looking skirt and a flimsy camisole surrounded by candidates (mostly men) all in business suits! And, somehow, I passed the bar.
So, I think that type thing is a sign of good luck. My fingers are crossed for you.
My cat Mr. Boomerang got into something and spent the day at the animal hospital on an IV yesterday and overnight. When I went to get him this morning he acted as if he did not even know who I was. I have only had dogs, and I find this cat so different. Any time I have boarded Scooter at the vet or dropped him off at the groomer, he practically does somersaults he is so happy to see me when I arrive. Weird, how I enjoy the cat's personality - something I don't think I even noticed when I was drinking. Then again, if I had been sober, I might never have let the little stray into the house in the first place!

Scooter, I think pink is spot on with the diagnosis! I have two cats myself. Would you like two more? Lol!!
Gotta get packing and hit the road to the family gathering place.
I tried molasses in my coffee that a running friend of mine suggested. Gives you extra iron and minerals and gets you away from the bad sweeteners. I have to say it is pretty good!
