Hi all. Or "all a y'all" as they say down here in NC.
I have been absent for a few days. Busy getting ready to go to my happy place. Now I am here and relaxed.
Hev I hope you enjoy White Lotus. I certainly did. Looking forward to the season 3. Jennifer Coolidge is so awesome.
Alpine so glad you have Riley and Mr. A. Thinking of you a lot and sending healing vibes.
NL happy Birthday to your son!
Free how many children do you have? 3 or 4? I hope you have a nice visit with your daughter and new SIL.
Zura I love an epic thunderstorm.
Jack I hope you get your energy back. So good that you quit smoking.
Grateful to be at the beach for a long weekend. I have lots of paid vacation available and it's my birthday tomorrow.
Grateful we stopped at my favorite GF bakery on the way down yesterday and got lots of goodies. So many more options than when I was first diagnosed with Celiac 20 some years ago.
Grateful for a beautiful morning hearing the waves, watching the sea birds and sipping coffee.
Grateful that even though it took me hours to go to sleep I could listen to the ocean.
Grateful for my sobriety.
Grateful that my daughter is pet sitting. But I miss my pets.
Grateful my older daughter got hired at her first interview out of massage school. It even pays benefits!
Grateful for SR and the GP.

CBS - I almost gave up on WL, but glad I didn't. Only on epi 3, but I have to find out what happens.
Grateful I'm finally starting an exercise program after much procrastination.
Grateful MrH is onboard with going meatless a few nights.
Grateful to stop putting the news on first thing. It sets the tone for the whole day.
Grateful for each of you.

CBS - we got a good lightning show too! Although I do worry about the dangers I don't think there was any harm or fires started. It's not been a dry hot summer here so that's good. Lucky the hail missed my parts as well, so it was a 'free' show for me with bonus rain.
Zen - love the Snow White coffee meme 😂.
Alpine - thinking of you and sending love and strength ❤️.
This morning I am grateful for:
- buy nothing groups
- a safe, warm environment to dwell in.
- sunrise and sunset.
- for everyone here.

CB we are birthday month buddies, mine is Monday
Grateful I slept fairly well
Grateful we went to the wood floor place and brought home some samples. Now to pick one out,
Grateful for the street tacos I made last night with leftover crock pot roast
Grateful for my sewing machine, cutting mat and roller cutter
Grateful I put my wedding ring back on. I have had it off with the testing being done and the surgery that was supposed to happen. Makes me feel better having it on. I know that may sound silly.
Grateful for all of you

CBS so glad you made it to the beach and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! I think it would be today. So cool that you and Alpine are birthday buddies.

- for making it to my annual physical and getting caught up on a vaccine
- for access to medical care, even if it’s hard to find the time for my own appointments
- for a lovely meeting last night
- for the unbeatable and short lived, beautiful scent of the Texas Mountain Laurel
- to have a fairly clean house
- for another day. Sober.

Hev we are eating less meat too. One of my daughters is now a vegan.
Grateful to be alive to see 61 today. A birthday at the beach is a great birthday.
Grateful for a good night's sleep after a bad one the day before. Hoping to see dolphins today as a birthday gift.
Grateful my husband is walking to the corner store to get maple syrup. He is making me GF blueberry pancakes.
Grateful there is a tennis court at the condo complex. My husband hit with me yesterday. He has not played in years but he got better the loner we hit.
Grateful for the soothing sound of the ocean off the balcony 24/7.
Grateful for my sobriety, 799 days today.
Grateful for the grat pack.

I have t been wearing my rings either, in my case because of water retention. Grateful to finally be able to wear again
Grateful to be back home after vacation. Even though quite a few things didn’t go our way, we still made the best of it and had fun. None of us were prepared for altitude sickness which we all got in varying degrees. Mr F also got very sick the first day and had to miss skiing the whole trip. Sonny boy went out on our own and skied a whole day. Toward the end, we got separated and sonny boy fell off a different run so I didn’t see it happen. He got pretty banged up. Had to get ski patrol to find him but everything worked out ok. Grateful for no injuries other than sore shoulder. But he didn’t want to ski the next day. We got snowed in and spent the third day building snowmen and walked around town after Mr F rallied. Sonny boy and I did tubing on the final day. Grateful the condo had fooz ball, pool and ping pong table and hot tub. Grateful for the resort manager who helped folks move their cars and get unstuck. Grateful to get all our money back for the lift tickets and rental gear for Mr F. Grateful sonny boy had so much fun at Mile High Comics on the way back to airport
Grateful for wonderful neighbors who took care of the cats
Grateful to finally get some qualify sleep after getting back late last night
Grateful to be back here
