Free, I hope all is going well. As for the meme, a group of crows is called a murder.

Numb - Very cool that you were remembered by your former co-worker.
Palmer - I had cassette tapes & even a few 8-tracks at one point.
Alpine - Yes, grill is essential. Love how you get out there, undeterred by snow & freezing temps.
Grateful for 3 nights of decent sleep in a row.
Grateful my son's depression seems to be lessening as he gets older.
Grateful there are only 8 more days in Funky Feb.
Grateful for thoughts of flowers & warm breezes.
Love to all.

Good morning all 🌞.

Hope you are all well ☺️.

This morning I am grateful for:
- safety glasses to protect my eyes when using the line trimmer.... when I remember to put them on 😂.
- health and safety of myself and loved ones.
- coffee.

Love to all ❤️.

PS, hooray on the deliverable and giving fewer bleeps.
Free, good luck with the travel. And hope the test was manageable!

Taking a cue from Zura’s format.
Grateful for
- coffee. Woke up a bit after 4 a.m. so definitely need it.
- nice weather
- no meetings (I think—I was too scared to spend much time looking at work calendar and emails lest I be sucked in)
- finding my son an academic coach…combo of tutoring and help with overall planning and systems to support schoolwork in general. I put this off for so long because of feeling overwhelmed and in just looking for a tutor I found something that sounds like what we need
- an appointment to get my son back on some meds
- that my son ended the night coming in to give me a bunch of big hugs after being pretty unkind to me
- sober sleep. Never gets old
- people working in and running restaurants

Grateful to be sober and cigarette-free :-)

Have a good day all - will catch up on everyone's news later

Jack, woo hoo on freedom from cigarettes!

Grateful
- I asked for strength and was able to stay calm and firm through rough stuff with my son, ex, and to a lesser extent, my daughter.
- I also stood up to my dad yesterday
- my daughter fell asleep in her own bed (with significant help from me and me staying up way later than I want but it’s progress)
- my parents help me financially and I can pay for additional supports for my son around school
- kids go to their dad’s today
- for HEB (grocery store)
- for a life of relative ease
- for the daily reading on codependency, that problems don’t mean something is wrong. They are just part of life. Good reminder.
-for all of you.

Grateful Mr. A went with me to the Dr's office. Surgery now postponed as they want to do radiation first. Grateful the Dr. sent out the referral and that he answered all of Mr. A's questions. I did not have any..Still in a bit of a fog
Grateful I slept fairly well
Grateful to have my sewing machines in the house to keep me occupied ..my mind off things
Grateful for my sewing buddy Riley. I have a little bin next to a window which he slept on next to me
Grateful for all of you

Grateful to wake up
Grateful for Zura’s format, it will prevent me from writing Glateful, Gfataeful, Greatdpful, or Grateatful 😅🤣😬😁

Today, I am ever so grateful for
-coffee
-sleep
-a wonderful husband
-a drive to see pregnant daughter and meet her husband this weekend
-I do not have a job yet so there’s an opportunity to finish her wedding throw
-to have a third phone interview today with center director (they fired the manager the morning I shadowed 😬🤨🧐
-for connections here REALLY GRATEFUL
-for peace if my son still won’t see or talk to me when I’m where he lives this weekend
-to say goodby, once and for all ,the yucky state I lived in for 25 years this weekend

MUAH!! ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ ♥️♥️

Thanks Alpine, once I’m dont with this blanket, need to do more crosswords, or I’m going to be a blubbering idiot with limited vocabulary

Alpine, I'm glad Mr. A was with you at the Dr's, and helped with questions. It's very daunting to try to take in that kind of information, and very natural that it would produce a fog. I think those fogs can be a cushion, to protect us. I'm glad you have your sewing ... I too find sewing to be a therapeutic distraction.
Grateful this morning for paints and paper.
Grateful to a quiet day to catch up on things.
Grateful for this group.

Free - Grateful to wake up - love that! Yes indeed.
Alpine - Hard to swing with the change in plans, but I'm sure they are taking the best approach.
Grateful for US.
Grateful for a small amount of snow tonight - just enough to look pretty I hope.
Grateful to be fighting cravings & using willpower (food). I know there's a direct connection between being anxious & wanting to snack to pacify myself.
Grateful to be watching The White Lotus to appease 2 friends who keep insisting I'd love it. Jury's still out - it's a bit much in spots.
Grateful in just 6 days it'll be bye-bye to February.

Grateful we have the funds for me to buy some fabric so I can work on some sewing to keep my mind occupied
Grateful we still have electricity. It started to snow last night then turned to freezing rain
Grateful for all of you, you have been helping me through this tough time which may last for a while
Grateful Mr. A ordered me another pair of my favorite outdoor/athletic pants that I have been wear around since it's the most comfortable. Got it for an early Bday gift but I will wait to open the bag until then. My Bday is Monday. Woot woot.

Alpine, happy early bday!! Hopefully I can remember between now and Monday but considering I will open my ipad and forget why I did, I’m not counting on myself too much.

Grateful
- for people leading meetings around the world
- to spend time putting the house somewhat back in order after my parents were here
- for support from my son’s school. I would still like more but I”m grateful for what they are doing
- to have the flexibility to pick my son up early from school for his birthday
- that it will cool down a bit for a day or two. We had high 80s earlier this week and have 80s projected for most of next week
-my son’s heart is still tender and kind enough that when we kept seeing a deceased cat by the side of the road he wanted to bury it ourselves. I told him heck no but I would call the city and he said he would just bury it himself instead.
-the dead cat was indeed picked up or taken to be buried by someone so my child wasn’t walking around the neighborhood with putrid carrion. Also the chances that he really would have done it without my help are very low … so glad this ended up much ado about not very much.
-for all of you.
