You can always call and talk to the nurses so not to bother her if she's uncomfortable.

Studio apartments here are in the $700 range and average wage here is $9 an hour, $12 with bachelors degree. So why its warm its too high to live

Damn, I guess I'll forget your neighborhood, then! Is it expensive cause your by the beach? I'm always trying to scope out some new state to live in.

All of Florida is ridiculously overpriced!
I personally want to move to the southern tip of Indiana right across the Ohio river from Louisville Kentucy.

I guess the first apt I got here was a 2 bedroom, older, at 675/mo

I want to move outside Nashville, TN. I could make more money in city and live in outskirts cheaply. Looked into it a few years ago.

Rae Rae it muust eb because of teh beach and touristy stuff inland you do better and in South Florida, farther you guy (along coast) more you make, but Im told the costs go up too

This ex bf of mine lived in Miami right by the beach-he said he had a cheap place...but that was the 80s..things changed, huh?

I just want to find a milder climate with the ocean nearby..

Why is Miami so scary????

I guess it's all reletive.

It seems like everyone I've known who has lived there got involved in coke, though, it gets there b-4 it gets here-it's supposed to be more pure there.

My 'hood is bad by many standards, too, but I can deal with it.

Miami has more crime per capita than NYC.
Every watch CSI miami, that downplays it.
AN ex of mine had a place on Miami beach in early 90s, it was cheap for him cause he had 12 roomates.
I cant even (on a good week) afford a Giro at a shop near Miami beach.

You can probably google a city in VA. I know Richmond was pricey but pay was good. My family lives in Norfolk, its fair. Virginia Beach is touristy

my ex always bragged how cheap the Cuban food was in Miami, and all the great music and art-deco architecture (sp?)...I know Florida has a lot of people in prison compared to other states.

Did you grow up there?

Shoot, every place has a drawback, tho...DAMN!

I was thinking about San Diego cause my sister is moving there to be with her kids.

I went to so. Cal. a few times long ago and I don't want to live in L.A. cause I hate driving-and smog! , but maybe somewhere near san diego?

I've been there and it is really beautiful!!! So is Vancouver.

I want to live where I can swim in the ocean, and the ocean is cold pretty much all year 'round in Or. and Wa.

I also want to live where there is more than 3 months of summer!

Hey, I've always been told that southerners are more friendly..is that true?

Yeah, crime and drugs are everywhere! Lots of people move from here-Mpls to Portland Or. it seems like. They are very similar, (population, etc.) except portland is more beautiful!

Also, when i visited a friend in portland, I asked to see the worst part of town ...and it was like, "hey, there's a house that needs paint!" It was nice. The trees are SO BIG, and they have a rain forest!

I've thougth about moving there...how is the job and rent situation?

My best friend lives near San Diego, she wants to move back to Florida. Says its too fast passed, and all concrete, but thats just her opinion.

Im a born and raised Floridian, lived in NC mountains a bit (few months, separate years-kept being drawn back before I had a carreer.

More people in Florida prisons, I didnt know that

You go girl, it takes courage and confidence to up and make a move like that. Many would never be capable of such a thing.
I've done it...and I am proud of it...had to prove to myself I could.
