I'm officially a newbie! I am on my first day. No more Nytol for me. Yes, I'm the one who thought I was a "dip" for getting myself hooked on Nytol. But some very nice people in the NA forum made me realize that addiction is a disease that goes after you with anything that makes you submit to it...whether it's booze, heroin...or Nytol. I'll write my whole story in another thread but I am officially on the wagon again...and I am MORTIFIED!

Day eight for me today...and oh boy..am I craving....I can almost taste it - but I will not succumb...but cross my fingers, so very tightly.

nytol is a sleep aid with sedative qualities.

woohoo, i survived to day 14. i've never felt like i've been in this big of a battle my whole life.

but i can't think of any better feeling than the one of being clean and sober.

Hey everybody...you're all doing great, just keep on holding out, one day at a time. Go to lots of meetings, pray, yell, scream or do whatever it takes to stay clean/sober. We can all do this thing!!

Hi guys, and for the newbies welcome to SR. It's been 25 days for me and I feel so much better, haven't even complained about my car in a few days. Sounds like everyone is doing good, makes me happy!!

Another newbie joining the thread here. Stumbled across the message board and it seems like a place full of positive people. Anyhow, I've smoked weed for about 10 years now and decided that I want to stop it. Only day 2 for me so far. Day 1 was alot easier than I thought it would be tho. There is no doubt in my mind that this is it for me. I'M DONE!!!!!!!!!
