I realise that too. I know I'll be moving but it's nice to know that they are on my side in theory.

@Tetra, I'm so happy to hear that you've got a little bit of joy in your heart today.

@bim, that is interesting. I tried to change it myself but couldn't figure out how.

@Ven, I get the Tangerine LaCroix at Pick n' Save, if you happen to have any of those around. As far as a renaming contest, I dunno, U75 is starting to grow on me, especially with my recent marine "re-branding." Allso, when I had my first kid, the people on the quit-smoking forum I was on had a similar contest for my son. The result was somewhat bizarre, but I can't seem to remember what it is. Ever since then I've been reticent about letting people on forums name things for me!

I changed mine before I ever posted, so maybe you've used up your one change, too? It's got to be under User CP somewhere...if you haven't used it.

Otherwise, here's Anna's page, you can message her from there:

First, of all, Seinfeld. Second of all, BITE YOUR TONGUE. Four is quite enough, TYVM. If we have another, my wife's doctor will have a lot of explaining to do as to why the little procedure she had a while back didn't work!

Back from the coffee shop, where I had an iced green tea, and shopping after that... I found a nice collage style picture frame. I intend to get the vacation pics enlarged and printed. I'll make a collage of the best of the pics. It's a white wood frame that will look good in any room of the house. Now to narrow it down to eight pics.

What name will you go with, U75? I adore submarine movies, btw.

Love it U75! That's pretty much how I pictured a U75 looking lol!

Today at lunch I got my car registration renewed in record time...in and out in five minutes flat! Started a load of kitchen towels and rags (I'm beyond picky about keeping kitchen laundry separate and bleaching it properly.) Almost time to head back to work just as the afternoon sleepiness sets in...caffeine might be in my future!

Ruby, how is your compost bin not disgusting? I have a stainless steel supposedly very nice indoor bin and it's just... gross. Never. again. Maybe it's the south? With our hot weather, humidity... and insects??

Hank is always my first choice as he was "my" penguin at London Zoo (along with Grizelda) RIP Hank

Bucheim - Lothar Bucheim wrote the novel Das Boot based on... the truth. An excellent film which would have been even better if they had had the courage to stick to his words

Vacano - Jost Vacano, cinematographer on Das Boot. Genius

Actually - Username7775 - is my real 1st choice - what you post is much more important than your name/avatar pic and you post good stuff User

Oh, well I am glad to hear it's not just me, Brynn!

I was extremely disappointed with it all. Wanted it to work!

Honestly, if it change it to anything, it will probably be "U75," solely because it's shorter. Or, maybe some sort of unpronounceable symbol.

I cast my Geek Vote for U-235: the Uranium Isotope.

Thread Theme Music...

- 'Things That Make You Go Hmmmm' ~ C+C Music Factory ~ 'Soul Train' TV Show -

More Mesa fun on tap... MesaMate is going to a High Tech Conference with a Gal Pal. I'm having her stretch out the time before/after said Conference a few States away. The Gal Pal Conference Speaker is being courted by a major Telecom Player, and has a Suite to share. The Pix on line of this Joint are mighty hoidy-toidy. Got MesaMate an affordable First Class Seat going out; an 'Economy Plus' Seat coming back. More High Country Adventure w/me & MesaDog! Everybody happy! They can go Drink. I can go think. And, Fish.

Marty's exquisite Toenails - and the Post mentioning Jet Cabin snugness [vs. Trains] - caused me to look up Icelandic Air Fare for the req'd BigAzz Seats for pending Travel. It's called 'Saga Class'; their Biz Class. ~$1,800 R/T each from Denver to Iceland next Summer. Some Gent wrote a fab Review of his Flight, but the Airport Lounge and Seat Pix show some Booze. Of course. So, no Link_y here...

Next Task was to unclog the Whole House Vacuum a while ago. It plugged up, and was popping a dedicated 15 Amp Circuit Breaker from over-heating. Never happened before. Got 'er running again, and emptied the massive Bag therein. The proverbial clean start.
