I hope your enjoying your holiday, Tetra. I'd love another 3 day weekend.

Haha I take it it's raining Tetra.

1st day of summer, overcast and not especially warm.

Make the most of your Stepford children Ruby

Another Monday bites the dust.

I've just put the tennis on - why DOES Rafael Nadal scratch his butt after EVERY point? High definition TV does have some drawbacks

You missing Nadal's other moves, Man...

Lift Shirt off left Shoulder. Lift Shirt off right Shoulder. Sweep Hair up over left Ear. Sweep Hair up over right Ear. I might be missing an OCD move or two...

Da Wife laughs in disgust every time he pulls a 'Wedgie' out of his Shorts ON EVERY POINT! Truly hilarious!

Sharapova screws with her Necklace, I believe, in the same manner.

Hey Guys... Saturday I had a stressed day at work, didn't eat, got cranky and well... Anywho, today is another day, right? I really like your quote Tetra, "Do not judge me by my successes, judge me by how many times I fell down and got back up again" - Nelson Mandela. I am feeling it right now.

Sun is shining for the first time in 3 whole days! Yay!

Garden Girl, do not forget to EAT!!!! Eat eat eat. I always forget to eat. Always. Then I end up super insanely crabby and like crying and drinking. It isn't good. It's a super bad habit. Something I need to be mindful of but always forget.

So - yay, me. I actually bought my favorite cookies (Fig Newtons - they were on special) AND I didn't eat half the package in one sitting.

I feel so out of control with sugar and I'm really making an effort to eat it mindfully. This is a big hurdle. I took out eight cookies - which is more than the original sober plan to eat four of them. I put four of them back in the bag after I had them already out and had sat down with them. This is huge.

I know.

But it's huge.

I've lost 11 pounds so far and I have six to go. I'm really happy about it. Now my dinner is cooking, and I feel protected.

oh. all about bim. Hi everyone!!

...and I saw two eagles at the beach and did 8400 steps.

bimini, fig newtons! I was pretty much raised on them. My brother and I would sit and eat a whole package. Oh the days. If I did that now id probably have to go to the hospital for hyperglycemia.

heh heh, gettingsmarter. The package doesn't hold that many.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I'm shutting down the kitchen with 359 extra calories. I could go have a whole lot of FNs - but sober eating is something I have to master. I will go to bed without having any more. That's not happened in my memory.

Tetra, good one!

GardenGirl, remember HALT!

anattaboy, great job on the week, keep racking them up!

Ruby, how peculiar, my kids were unusually amiable today too. They have to be reacting to some phases of the moon. Overall, I have a decent handle on the bickering and separate them immediately. It's when I'm exhausted that they smell weakness!

Melki, I was just talking to my mother and relating that they continued their pod existence tonight too, barring a brief meltdown when I first picked them up from after school care. I did notice an almost full moon. I'll take it. I'm glad yours were amiable as well.

Bimini, good for you. You reminded me that I forgot to eat again. Roar. Then I eat too much of the wrong thing.

Behan, glad you had a good day. Mine was a little off putting since the kids were so well behaved. But pleasant.
