ISNW yesterday was pretty rough craving wise for me too. Had the most intense, long and out of the blue craving. The weekend bus helps so much just reading.

ishallnotwant, I'm really happy you made it through.

I never doubted that you would.

In honor of your avatar: The penguins at my local zoo have a great enclosure - and are pampered as they deserve. Pics! (this is a Ryan Hawk/NatGeo photo. I know him!!) I love the penguins; and it's chick season! For you, too, Sao.

Ken, I have the slowest ISP in North America. It's too time consuming to upload pics - it takes so long that I get timeouts every time I try on tinypic. It's not worth it to me. I have to change ISPs though. My provider got gobbled up by Sprint. So maybe my storage card will get uploaded someday. Or not.

Tnx, Folks, for the Charlie Sexton & 'Garbage' Vids. Love 'em.

They brought to Mind an '80s fav of ours: 'Missing Persons'. Frank Zappa's long-time Drummer. His Wife on Vocals. The Keys Player went on to his 15 minutes of Movie Fame in 'The Commitments', and now puts out 'Ambient' Music you'll hear on Sirius Satellite. Earth Muffin Music to zone out by.

We here all know what a lil Mental Hopscotch feels like, eh?

Booked a morning Appt. here with our chosen Realtor to put together a Marketing Plan for this House: 1. Put out a Sign. 2. Wait to be deluged with potential Buyers. A prime reason I decided to use a Realtor. I've had my fill of Da Public and High Tech Customers over the Decades, and need a Process Manager at this time in my aged Life. Don't bother me. Call him. Has a nice ring to it. Knowing what 'enough' is is one very satisfying aspect of Sobriety. Skip the Stress preemptively. Skip the Triggers caused by Stress.

Wishing everyone just a peachy Sunday!

Penguins are cool Bim that's an oxymoron given where most of them live

Were you OK last night Brynn?

Drab old day in Blighty so I don't begrudge being stuck under my old Lancia which finally having the suspension fitted. Hopefully i've got everything

Good morning everyone. Drizzly morning. t the sky is lighter so maybe it will clear.

Thank you BigS. I'm glad you are feeling better. It isn't comfortable traveling when you're ill.

Behan, I'm glad you're doing well and made it through yesterday. How long are you home for?

Thanks for the song Saoutchik. A good looking around at the world song.

Already the two children are fighting. It's going to be a long day. Maybe. We'll be going to church.

Garden Girl, rock it!

ISNW, I'm glad you're doing better today. It's rough sometimes but if we put up with the temporary discomfort now, it reaps dividends.

Getting in my tommy time. Coffee and listening to the heavy rain. Love the fact it's raining so my last day of vacation I don't feel the need to do anything but stay in and cook and get ready mentally for work. Will check in later. Hate typing on the tiny phone.

Sao, aren't you missing a thingy??

Kidding. That is a big project.

The Humbolt penguins in my picture are from South America. They survive in the Humbolt current - well, they aren't surviving very well thanks to us dumb humans.

Happy Sunday everyone!
Looks like a beautiful day and I've got lots to do. Mow the lawn, laundry, errands. Gotta make up for doing nothing yesterday. Then its back to work tomorrow. I love time off when it's not ruined with hangovers.
Congratulations to all of you who stayed tough through cravings this weekend. Gettingsmarter, ishallnotwant. They do pass.
OK. ..I better get moving!

I sponser a pair at London Zoo Bim (hence Avatar) They are not very "cuddly" looking like Antarctic penguins but as you say they are endangered.

Thank you Ruby so am I. It is just a never ending money pit. Unfortunately it's way off at the moment

How did your "do" go last night Nonsensical?

Well, those are two different animals. If I were going for a classic:

Weekend has been smooth except for last night. 2 weeks in and cravings mostly only in the background but they hit the foreground last night out of the blue. No triggers. Just said hello and feed me. I didn't of course but I was annoyed nontheless. I know I'm way early in the game so hardly unexpected. Looking forward to that stupid voice shutting the heck up or at least hard to hear anyways.

for me Misterchill they got less frequent but just as intense ..
After 12 months they stopped happening , long may it stay that way .

I think we all have different time timescales with such things .

Keep on

Thanks Dan.... Some days it doesn't feel any different yet I know it has changed dramatically. Still have a ways to go for some personal development. I was a mess huh?

How are you doing today? How was your weekend? Please know I would love to see you join in the weekender every week. Good group of people here and good to include you.

That's good to hear MisterChill. Your post has brought to my mind that cravings as I knew them earlier on have decreased dramatically in intensity and frequency. Something for you to look forward to. That leaves the primary focus to continue building a life worthy of the effort it has taken to get here.
