I was in the middle of something and couldn't laugh just at that moment. In general, I can laugh at work.

Now I can laugh all I want although if I do, they will think I'm nuts. And I am. To a certain degree. I have paperwork to do. Monthly statistics for May. Yuck.
Weasel, how did your meeting go?

OMG the latest episode of Game of Thrones was amazing!!!!!! I watched it twice. I recognised some of the places where it was shot.

Funny posts earlier about silences and talking in meetings. I used to be silent in meetings due to being hungover. I am still silent, but find I am observing more, including my own irritation with others who like to consume time by expressing simple concepts in elongated, obtuse prose, or never miss an opportunity to self aggrandise. I'm now working on not allowing that to irritate me - I have no control over it.

Well we picked a sofa and new bed. Sorry Sao, Ikea offers the best deals and we literally have nothing! We will pick up the rest of stuff that we need in vintage stores. Mrs B is artistic and will paint and individualise stuff.

Better start buying baby stuff also! Yikes!!!

You sir are correct. The balance of leading and remaining silent is... well... a balance. Speak to much people shut up. Speak to little we all feel odd. Speak just right and it enables others to find a voice.

I spoke just right today. People were on it and we all had a few laughs.

That's great Ken! Good observation.

Behan, I think Mrs. B will have a lot of fun furnishing. I like doing that stuff too. Or used to.

I'm home. I ate crap all day except a big tub of tabbouli. Feel like a whale and am changing into comfy clothes.

Uggg don't even want to talk how badly I have eaten the last few days. Even my comfy clothes aren't comfy.

I'm baking an apple buttermilk cake. I had apples and buttermilk that I need to use. It's almost done.

One child in bed, one soon enough. Will they start thread part 2? We're over 500. Who will get shotgun?

I am here too. I have thought about this "place" everyday for the past week or so. I found an e mail today. Another sober spring. This will be my third summer since I put my shot glass down. I am struggling with some grown up problems and becoming depressed. I have never been able to handle prolonged sadness or frustration. Well, that is until now , right? I think I need to be here for a bit. Hey Weasey , you remember me??
