All this talk of coriander makes me want to get some and use it in something!

Conquest....great pic and yeah...the weather here has been just about perfect! Yay! I'm too chicken to get on the big roller coasters! I did liked the shockwave, though! (They always get rid of the good rides!)

Well done Dreajean! Nothing better than waking up on a weekend morning sober!

Wow mecanix....thank goodness you were there and able to help. Must have been an emotional experience for you.
Ruby...I'm so glad you are thinking about a vacation. I should talk, I haven't taken one in years but have a week in the works. We need to take time off.
Brain. ..salmon sounds good. Has the fight started?
BigS...sorry to hear about the neighbors. That's very annoying. I have a barking dog next door that gets on my nerves.
Peanut butter and jelly for dinner here tonight. Sometimes you just don't feel like cooking.
Then ran to jc penny's. It's nice to be able to run out to a store on a Saturday evening. Instead of being home, drinking and dumb...

Greetings Sober Enders!
So much to catch up on! It will take me the rest of the evening to get through all the posts.
But it does sound like everyone is doing well!

I have been terrifically busy today. Baked four loaves of bread, two batches of cookies, planted some kohlrabi in the garden and took the dog for an extra long walk. Moved piles around in my house so that it seems as though I cleaned.
Dinner was burger on the grill and a salad of spinach, strawberries, feta and balsamic vinaigrette. Delicious.
I'm afraid I failed at trying to discern the smell of gain last night....childproof or factory sealed, I was not able to get the thing open. I guess I will have to take it on faith this great smell.
Ok, shall climb into bed and watch something silly on TV and catch up on all your words.
Be well people!!!

I make stir fry pork with coriander, garlic, peppercorns, salt, lime, lemongrass, and onion. It's yummy over rice with chili sauce.

Good night everyone. Wiped out from the rides. It's fantastic to know we won't be hungover tomorrow.

We tackled a laundry list of projects in the house today that I've been putting off forever. One or two more weeks and my house will look like new! We fixed 3.5 doors (the .5 stands for the door that is currently waiting for another coat of stain) and got the hardest room in the house cleaned - my kleptomaniac son's room! I was dreading even starting, but I finished and I feel like I can see light at the end of the tunnel. Unbelievable how productive I can be when I'm not drunk or hungover. I might actually have time to enjoy weekends pretty soon instead of looking around hopelessly and having no idea where to start. Falling asleep sober for the fifth night in a row feels pretty great.

HaF, I should just have done peanut butter for dinner. And running out in the evening? Priceless! Maybe we should each take time off. I have a bunch of time and have to use it or lose it.

Our weather was fantastic today. Seventy five with sun and light breeze. Full moon. Everyone sleeping here. I'm soon for bed.

Was not as productive as Olive. My one bathroom is clean.

Conquest, love the peacock. We used to stay at a place by a lake in Florida that had a flock of them. It was always disconcerting seeing them roosting in trees.

Brynn, Google coriander and then pick a recipe! There has to be something that strikes your fancy.

Black bean and corn salsa. Still on my mind and sounds so fresh.

Noexcuse, congrats on five days! That's great. You must be tired after all that. I'm still aiming to have the house stuff caught up and free time. I still stare at it not knowing where to start. It does get overwhelming for me. I think I will take a page from your book and make a list.

Ok. Ice cream eaten. The coffee coffee buzz buzz from Ben & Jerry's wasn't my favorite. Back to chunky monkey.

Going to be interesting to see what happens. ..I can't believe all the hype. And Mayweather is going to earn 180 million, and Manny 120 million. Maybe I should start boxing. ..BIG LOL!!

Well I guess I will have to wait to read the boxing results. I'll be in bed before then. Wish I had watched the Kentucky Derby. Seems to have been overshadowed with the boxing.

Very odd choice for the anthem, didn't know he could sing.

I went for a few hours nap earlier, I'm now here to the end, it's currently 5am here!!
