He has released his own music although based on tonights performance it sounds as if he hadnt sung in years

Morning all!

Wow Mex! What a tale of heroism! Thankfully you were there and sober! Amazing!

Tossing and turning all night with man-flu generated nightmares.

Hi Ruby,
I hope i heard you'll be taking some you time in this vacation .

Lists, rostas and schedules are useful tools, maybe the kids could help out a little bit ?

Healthy housekeeping habits learned now will carry them through in the future , they will probably whinge and complain but maybe you could tie it in with some kinda reward for all of you ?
They might not do it to your standards, but like sobriety teaches me be thankful for what i can get or have already
Is it possible to look for someone in AA where you can help each other out with it maybe ? Two pairs of hands to watch kids and hit it as a team could be motivational ?
Just throwing a few ideas round …

Sunday coffee is on,
off to Blackpool later to look round an apartment on the seafront tomorrow . Looks nice , all on the level and ground floor will be quite nice, quite a private garden . So the cat will be happy too i think

Just about worth getting up for at 3:45am I suppose. No great suprise.

Enjoyed last night in the bunker there was a gallery and a book store and above ground there was a roof garden. Interesting, glad I went. They did have a couple of bars there but I just had a couple of non alcoholic cocktails

Wow, amazing story Mecanix. Good job you were there. I'm glad nobody was hurt, I wonder if a smoke alarm was fitted? I'm always checking mine. Have a good day in Blackpool - I must have missed it but I guess you have taken that job - congratulations

Just noticed we are on 400+ posts and Sunday hasn't really started for Statesiders. On top of that we have a public holiday tomorrow (Mayday).

Do you get that holiday in the States or is it just us in the Communist Bloc?

Checking in with my favorite Sober Peeps on Sunday Morning.

I told Mrs.Non I would bust out the chainsaw today and knock back some encroaching trees. Wish I hadn't, but perhaps I'll feel better about it once I get going. It will be nice to have it done.

Tonight - Game of Thrones! The series is a little more interesting to this book-reader this year because they have taken some serious departures from the books on a couple of the story lines. I used to know what was going to happen next, but now I don't know.

Well done to our resident Superhero.

What a cool pic, Sao!

Just a heads up for anyone wondering...It's never too late to hop on the weekender bus!

I've got an action-packed Sunday starting in a couple of hours...church, family, friends...I'll be all over the place. Right now, I'm enjoying the quiet and a cup or two of coffee in bed. Waking up clear-headed never gets old.

A favorite Shel Silverstein poem to share...

Hi and good morning...so, I am in! Not had such a good time last few days...so was hard to rally, but am here and still sober. Better late than never?

Read some of this lonnnnnggggg...thread to get the gist but too much to take in just at the minute. Will keep up now though...

I had my first fruit/seed/spinach smoothie for breakfast today made in the new nutri bullet (a gift from me to me!)... Delicious! But...now hopped back into bed to eat cake and coffee and do some reading here , then get on with some work. Well...I am taking the nutritional journey slowly...!

Happy Sunday to you all as you go about your business x

Good morning weekenders. I always feel more like the well -traveled sort after I read through this thread. So many references to new and different places....I like googling the ones I'm not familiar with and learning about them.

Just another day of enjoying the spectacular weather here this weekend. The real heat/humidity will be here all too soon. Being able to sit here in tranquil silence (except for the birds' chorus) is the new norm for weekend mornings. No more sitting here sweating with quivering hands and searching the garage, my closet, back storage room or any other hiding places for stray empties hoping to find a warm bottle or two to hold me over until the stores open.

I don't miss that.

One more cup of coffee and then gym time for me. Have a great day gang.
