Glad your sang fried remained undisturbed MesaMan.

Because there is a large south asian community in London I am used to Coriander (Cilantro) and I really like it. Essential for Indian or Thai food.

Not feeling so tired as I was a while ago and have been for a walk. Here is a strange local custom. There is a cable near the station that everyone (it seems) likes to throw shoes over it. It's getting worse

A commercial just came on twice in a row. A big announcement that Maine Spirits prices have gone down! They presented it like hey wow... awesome... prices on booze have dropped! Run out now and get some!

Really? They need to advertise this. Multiple times in a row.

Then they have the effing message at the bottom... Please Drink Responsibly.

what ever...

In the U.S. that shoes over the power line thing used to be a sign that drugs were available in that location. That was a while ago, dunno if the youngsters still do that.

Get off my lawn.

Hey Weekenders!!

Feeling a tad better today, the late night watching the boxing wasn't the greatest idea when resting up with a head cold, but I'm definitely less "bunged up", not sure if that's the proper medical terminology but you get the idea!!

An evening watching the snooker is the plan, pot of white tea beside me at the moment, a relaxing Sunday all round!!

Let's keep it Sober!!

A few years ago it was very popular around here, too--but usually 1 pair per line. I had no idea there was any secret meaning to it!

Hey all! You kept going and going!

HaF, I bought Cherry Garcia. They're still out of Chunky Monkey. And I never realized it til now because I'm a Tide girl but my grocery store doesn't carry Gain. They did have something I've never seen. Borden individually wrapped cheese slices with apple wood smoked bacon. Who knew?!

I'm fighting the cold. It's warm here. 80 although there's a breeze. Trying to get the house in order. Mec, the kids are sort of helping but husband isn't. Dishes everywhere and none are mine. Ah, Lake Wobegon. Where the women are strong. Because we have to be.

Well, I'm sure that some of them are just thrown up there because someone saw it in a movie or something. Or they were tired of their shoes. Or they were mad at their brother, so, "I'll show you!"

Or, I could be completely wrong. It's just what I heard from the young people in my downtown big-city office.

Seriously, it's still Sunday here and only 30 posts, only 29 after this, to get to 500. I think we're golden.

Oh. I like cilantro/coriander in moderation.

Just try and sneak cilantro into my food. I will decorate the walls. It triggers my gag reflex. Instantly.

I believe that cable is a telephone landlines as they don't allow overhead powerlines in London except on the railways. Don't think it's a drug thing as it's a train station (but you never know)

Glad you're feeling better Purpleknight.

In 7 months my Lancia has gone from this
