Tomorrow off, so a 3-day weekend for me. Used to pick up a fifth of bourbon and a case of beer on my way home. That would usually get me to Saturday. Been a long time since I lived that life of a slave.

I got ninety-nine problems, but a fifth ain't one!

Here Comes The Weekend...

A lil cover of 'The Everly Brothers'...

'Here Comes The Weekend' ~ 1/2 of 'Rockpile'

Roses are red
Violets are blue
You don't move your Butt
Da Bus will leave you
Burma Shave

Looking forward to swapping only absotively, posilutely true Stories wif everybody.

Cleaned off the Truck at the Dog Park, and did my Public Service bit for the day. Picked up an empty 1/2 Pint 'Skol' Bottle in the nearest Intersection Crosswalk because I didn't know if it was Glass or Plastic. Took a whiff 'just because'. A good Olfactory smack upside the Head; the absolute opposite of a Trigger. Man, hard to believe the amount of that Guano I used to swill. Recycled the Plastic Bottle, since I'm a hard core Recycler.

Oh, man, I love your dogs, MesaMan.

Sigh. I need to get a house instead of this third floor condo.

Ring Ring - I am in. Thanks for the explanation of the bells. It sends a strong and wonderful message. I will be thinking about it all weekend.

NFL tonight!

Unfortunately, I couldn't find a GB Packers anthem that didn't have a lot of beer and debauchery in the video. So you get this one:

The Seahawks on the other hand:

Good luck - KEEP IT SOBER TONIGHT!

For the non-pigskin inclined, might I suggest Symphony No. 9 in E minor, From the New World, Op. 95, B. 178. One of my favorites. Neil Armstrong took a recording of the New World Symphony to the Moon during the Apollo 11 mission, the first Moon landing, in 1969

I am looking at that ad for a "Knowledge Manager" and thinking of my first year in college years ago...our English professor told us that we shouldn't think of exams as "exams"...we should call them "celebrations of knowledge"...

Ahh...it's the little things that make me smile

I can't stop thinking of "Knowledge Manager = Dumbledore (from Harry Potter)

Won't Get Fooled Again

... And think I can ever Drink and/or moderate my Drinking.

Music Link

'Won't Get Fooled Again' ~ The Who

This performance reportedly was supposed to be the 'retirement' of The Who, and was one of the last performances by Keith Moon. A few hundred lucky Folks were at the cavernous Shepperton Studios.

Alcoholic Pete Townshend was known to go through a Bottle of Brandy daily. As he wrestled with sobering up, he released his solo Disc 'Empty Glass'.

WGFA is my favorite R&R Song of all time, written at 128 Beats/Minute in March cadence.

In other News, I might have to start calling myself 'Knowledge Mangler'! Kinda catchy, eh?

I was completely sober when I saw the WHO at the tangerine bowl in Orlando back in 1982. They ended the show with magic bus. One of the best concerts ever - first time I was at a concert not f'd up. Sadly joan jett played before them and the B52s got booed off the stage.

Knowledge Mangler... love it!

I am not of the pigskin persuasion. There I admit it. But then again who here thought otherwise?

Just got back in for the evening... Need to catch up on everyone's doings. Fun fun group you all are... Thanks and see you in the a.m.

YaY! The weekend is here! Thanks to all you Aussies and time-forward folks.

Tetra, you just cracked me up with your series of 'Knowledge Manager' and 'celebrations of knowledge' thoughts. Tetra with her black rimmed glasses and a top-knot. How about "Knowledge Master", as in Tetra, the Knowledge Master...then we can complete the vision with a shiny superhero cape.

Definitely watching the game

BTW - MesaMan...your dogs look really clean and shiny! Impressive.
