Morning all
just woke and thought I'd check in.
Had my work appraisal yesterday morning online and it was super positive. I did not expect anything negative but it exceeded expectation and really boosted myself esteem which made me think a little bit more as to the things I might consider being capable of in the future
Another day off today, I have given up saying I'm going to paint the tables because I haven't quite got round to it, without making excuses I honestly think it is because the amount of space I have to paint things without the threat of the cats jumping on it is quite minimal!
Anyway, love to Be, Willow, Suze and Dee
Love Billy x

Morning Billy, you're up early! And i think my check in is early...!
Well done on the appraisal, that's great to hear, I bet you're brilliant at your job. I was really interested in the way you said work had helped you from falling further into alcoholism - my experience was exactly the same, working with young people I never drank before work and working in the evenings for years meant I didn't drink to 9/10pm very often. In fact when that stopped is when some of worse problems began.
Anyway, well done again, have a good day and don't worry about the table, wait til you get a nice day on spring and do it outside

Morning all. I must say I struggle enough with one cat, she's pitch black and the mistress of hiding. My son kicked her out of his room at 5am the other day, I said 'You'll have to check she isn't in there when you go to bed' but he did and just can't find her. I often 'lose' her in the house, god knows where she goes.
But she's increasingly affectionate to me now my ex has gone, sits in my lap every evening to sleep which I love. I feel so bad getting up for the loo though , disturbing her 😞
Hope everyone has a great day

Up until 2014 we were a two cat family and then we got another little one and I never thought we'd have more than three, three felt like loads. But then one of ours died beginning of Feb 2019 and a pair needed a knew home so this is how we ended up with four. Mealtimes are very chaotic and shouty 🤣
I think once you get to four the extra one or two is no bother, I do always locate them all before I leave the house though

She's called Gizmo Venus . Gizzy, a great name to call her in from the garden: Here gizzy gizzy gizz!!
We had sisters from 2012, and one disappeared in 2017. So we got gizzy in 2018 to keep Ollie company...Ollie had a mystery accident a few years back and we had her put to sleep last year. She was such a beautiful pet, I miss her greatly 😞
We would go back to two but as I'll be working away soon and the kids coming and going we don't think it fair on a young cat. Gizzy is pretty good by herself, but as I said she's got more affectionate recently...I think she know I need it when I'm here alone. Which is so sweet

Good morning all!
up early, mainly as I am going back to bed later before my night shift 🤣
as this is the case I have no illustrious plans for the day,
Not much to report, just checking in

Morning Billy, hope your day sleep plans work out.
I had some lino fitted yesterday in the bathroom and they've caused a massive leak from toilet. I got an emergency plumber out and today I've got to try and get it fixed properly as well as holding the company to account who messed it up in the first place. They did a really bad job elsewhere too ... 😡
Annoying sober stuff
Have a good day all

Hi everyone
I’ve been offline for a few days away with family
We had a lovely time at the beach and bush walking.
I agree that your post about the AV a couple of pages back was wonderful Billy ❤️
We only have 1 cat in our household and he’s super affectionate ❤️
