Thanks guys!! My last drink was about 7pm on 27/2/20 so I've just ticked over the year 😇

Had a good run in the sunshine, managed my third half marathon this month, and just chilled eating delicious crap all afternoon.

Thanks for all your support Venus, Dee, Willow and Billy, and look forward to you 'year up' on Monday Billy.

Shout out to Tink and Bilr who also helped me so much on so many occasions.

Morning all. It's another beautiful day and all I have to do is 'sort out the garden'. I'm not a keen gardener and always left it to emma, I just did what she told me and the grunt work, and I'm quite excited about learning how to garden!!

We've got strawberries and raspberries which grow at the back, I need to find out what I need to do to them to make them come back. Today I'll tidy up the edges but we've also got about 15 empty plant pots and a little plastic-covered growing thing, I'd like to grow some herbs and a few plants in there and maybe fill the plant pots with flowers. But how to do it all??? Quite a fun task, starting with zero knowledge

Hope everyone has a great day. Do you have any exciting plans to celebrate tomorrow Billy?

Hey Be
Yes I will be celebrating my milestone with a long day at work there appears to be another card on the shelf which has come through the mail stating not to be opened until March 1st, so I will open that first thing.

Great news on your plans for the garden Be, it always nice to grow your own. If you want any advice on anything, my partner grows a number of fruit and veg every year so might be able to help you out if you have any questions.

Have a fab day all
love Billy x

A day at work huh? Really living it up!

Thanks for the offer of help, there must be a book on how to garden, the equivalent of Delia Smith for cooking? (I've got a delia book and still go back to it for new things, it rarely misses!!!) Maybe Percy Thrower wrote one! Remember him? The old Blue Peter gardener, my dad still refers to anyone who does any gardening ever as Percy Thrower 😂

You don't need a book Be....you have us. Between us there is not much we don't know about pIants.
I am happy to suggest fIowers for your pots. And answer any questions.

Step 1. Do not touch those pIants that need untangIing and bringing back without good gardening gIoves.

Well this is an unexpected SR bonus!! Gardening tips...

Im going to try and grow chillis, coriander and basil from seeds, inside. And put them outdoors when the weather is ok. What do I need to know?

As for the pots - I've got 46 of all different sizes. Would love some colour in the garden. It gets sun in different places at various times of the day, only one patch is really shady all the time. Again, tips on what flowers would be great, as well as what soil to fill the pots with? 🤷‍♂️

Very early Monday here too, so congratulations Billy. What a job you've done, not only looking after your own sobriety but being the back bone of our group and offering so much support to me and others along the way.

I know you're at work today but I hope you get to treat yourself in some way.

And let me know who the card is from, I reckon it's her Maj with a Telegraph wishing you her congratulations 😁

Morning!
thanks for the congratulations guys, it's been a great year
Thanks for all your support on, here it's been invaluable in so many ways
The card was from my friend who has my boy dog's sister, I kind of suspected it was her but I kept looking at the writing and thinking it could be someone else too.
Lovely card 🥰
Have a great day everyone
Love Billy x

Nice one Billy 👍

I had the craziest dreams, drinking, not drinking, almost drinking. Old friends, family, old places I used to live. Quite enjoyed the roller coaster but have woken up a bit confused by them all.

Bizarre what goes on in all of our heads isn't it ? 🤷‍♂️
