Morning all hope everyone is well. Another week of home schooling but at least weather here looks better so get some nice long walks in. 99 days today !! Everytime i have tried to stop drinking i always had the 100 day goal in mind. Never made it before, but now im nearly there i know without a doubt i don't want to drink but carry on a sober life.

Night Tink, night all.
Im beginning to be a bit worried about Bilr...I know Billy Mac sometimes goes a few days without posting but this is three or four days without hearing from Bilr. I hope you're busy with friends, mate, rather than anything else

Have you thought about rewarding yourself with something? Like a new piece of clothing or a beauty treatment or a good book you’ve been wanting or a bracelet or new shoes? I like to give myself little incentives along the way for being so amazing ❤️

Sorry for absence, back at work again! Happy 100 days Tink! That's so great
I was wondering where Bilr was too, hopefully just busy, fingers crossed we'll hear from him soon.
It is my birthday today, I think it will be my first sober one in over 20 years so lots to celebrate but mainly I think with lots of nice food

Thanks everyone im super happy to be on 100 days, i couldnt even tell you all how many times i have tried to get here.

Evening all. Another day, hot here and the kids are tetchy and bothered. I'm well tired so I hope to sleep well tonight ready for my interview tomorrow. I've prepared the presentation and sent it to them; I've practised using teams; I've got a long meeting tomorrow morning when I'll try and prepare for questions I think they'll ask me. So nothing more I can do, just glad to be facing all this sober

I don't understand all of that Be.....re the meeting in the morning and such, but I don't think anyone has ever been ore prepared for an interview. You are going to rock it. Sleep well love.

Thanks billy and Tink. Thanks Venus - I mean I'm in a long meeting tomorrow morning (virtually) so should have time to search the internet and think about questions I may be asked whilst the meeting goes on.
I don't know the protocol for a missing month-mate but it seems wrong not to say I am concerned about Bilr and hope he is doing ok. I hope he's had internet issues or something but the group isn't the same without him

I always get upset when people go missing....I guess that I deal with it a bit more calmly than I used to....mostly with lots of faith that they are OK or will be OK and will come back.
I do a list every day in the 24-hr connection thread, and I see so many of the group return.....over and over, people come back. I like to hold on to that.
God luck again dear Be, and I get you now.....try not to worry....you know all of the answers to any question they will ask you. And you know what, if you ever get stuck, be honest.....that's what I do.....just saying well, I need to think about that for a moment.....I believe I would do such and such in that situation.....no one who interviews wants someone who already knows everything....being prepared to say I am not sure is not a bad trait in my opinion. s xx
