Class of March 2020 Part 5
Growing up in Aus, the noon-day sun is not a problem at all....it's the 3-4pm sun that will knock you out. Well, in Melbourne anyway.
Here, Columbus OH, it is horrendous from 7am due to the humidity. So you kind of need to garden late in the day. Which I have started doing this week.

Thank you all for your lovely kind wishes. Ive had a really nice day, quiet and calm but just a real feeling of happiness and contentment that I've not felt in a long while. Ive eaten lots of cake and chocolate, pampered myself, watched maleficent 2 and now tucked up in bed, sober and happy.

It sounds like a good day then Tink!
Morning all/evening willow, we're having an Xmas meal today because...well just because. I'm looking forward to cooking that and even found some sprouts in the supermarket. I love sprouts, don't know why we only have them once a year.
Have a good one people. Day 108 without a drink today

Morning all!
Me and the dogs were up with the lark and out of the door by 0600 this morning, so nice to be out when it's light and lovely and quiet, even did a walking meditation (with my eyes open obviously!)
Hope everyone has a great day
Love Billy x

Sprouts, their not just for breakfast anymore! My heritage is German/Slovak so I grew up with a lot of traditional meals. My wife is from South America so our traditions tend to be a little different.
I get a little worried taking walks right around or before sunrise here because you could run into the odd coyote or two. I hear the coyotes but it is rare to see them.
I am not getting thoughts about drinking but more thoughts of I won’t be able to enjoy a beer now and then. I know that’s not what I want though. I have always been a binge drinker and look at people funny who sip their drinks. Like, “what’s wrong with them?” Lol.

I've only been to Germany a couple of times, but really enjoyed the food when I did (and the beer, which I really did enjoy without getting hammered, so if I go again I'd need to rethink that!).
Ive got an interview for that job (good one which involves working away for periods) a week on Wednesday. An hour on MS Teams with a ten minute presentation. I haven't used that forum before so I'll practice in the week or so running up to it! Hopeful, nervous, glad I've got a date.

Thanks Dee - hope you are well
Monday morning, I'm taking my daughter into town today as the shops are reopening. No idea what it'll be like in terms of social distancing and busy-ness but we'll find out

That’s great Be good that you have time to practice the new forum before the interview
Tink our schools have all gone back, but we didn’t have all that many cases in Australia, so things have already opened up a fair bit. We still can’t travel interstate or internationally, and have to maintain social distancing, but most things have reopened now.
Bil I reckon I would be pretty wary of coyotes too. I remember having to walk a fair while (maybe an hour)along an outback road in the dark in the middle of Australia when my bike broke down one night (actually I stupidly ran out of petrol because I forgot I’d already flipped over to the reserve tank). Anyway the dingoes howling from different directions really scared me. It was the longest walk of my life, pushing my bike in the dark on a dirt road in the middle of nowhere. I shudder just remembering it! I learned to never forget to get fuel again!
I had a really early start and a really busy day today, so am off to bed to get some much longed for sleep.
Night everyone

Some days seem to last forever with this lockdown. I could almost work 7 days a week just to keep more busy. I can’t sit still to read and think I have adhd because I’ve never been able to concentrate while reading. I might start building a raised garden in the backyard. It is to late to plant but it will be a nice hobby. I have to see what autumn plants grow well down here.
My boss texted me at 6:45 a.m. to jump on a WebEx meeting. Meetings went on all day so I am going to bed early.
i googled dingoes and they look pretty similar to a domesticated dog. I’m sure they act a bit different.

This is a first, my wife told me I had too much energy this morning. I guess it beats mornings lying in bed dreading to get up. I am starting to get better sleep finally which had eluded me for months. My dogs are happier now because I am aware if they have to wake up early and go outside. No more “accidents” in the house now!
