Drake, do you know why you weren't invited? I have had folks not invite me to events because they knew alcohol was going to be there and they worried about me. It might not have been a slap at you.

Drake- a guy at my lunch meeting today said his parties were all booze, substance abuse and no substance. Now parties are a circle of friends with coffee and crappy biscuits and a lot of substance, like support-honesty-genuine friendship, not chemically fuelled ones.. Me too. Try not to take it personally.

Drake in more recent years I've limited toxic relationships to those I can't avoid. What this person does says more about them. Hold your head up, love. You have every reason to be proud of your ongoing recovery, focus on that and on enjoying those around you who are actually worthy of your friendship.

I feel like I have lost about a week. I've felt so poorly with the infection I've barely left my bed let alone the house. Woke up this morning feeling less like the missing link.

I hope everyone is having a nice day. I went to a swimming class and made ham & beans w/ cornbread. I also sewed another apron.... this time for my aunt.
Nothing too exciting but at least I wasn't getting in any trouble.

Mrs T and I went to a film put on by the film society last night. The film wasn't anything special but the audience were fantastic, no talking or cell phones and no crinkling sweet packets.

I've read about the plastic and it is a newly discovered additional health risk from our lifestyle. Yes the old aluminum cookware is gone and only cookware with a teflon or other lining is sold today. Aluminum chlorohydrate is in anti-perspirant and poses a risk. Prednisolone helps you by suppressing your immune system which makes you more susceptible to infections like most steroids. I would question my health care provider if they prescribed an immunosupressant when I have a lung infection or any infection.

It has the facial recognition that is more secure than fingerprint, and it won't recognize me unless I have my glasses the same as in the biometric picture taking. So I have to have my readers on. It's very fast.

We need more film societies. That's why we invested in a modern home theater. And at home we can pause to pop corn and do potty breaks. People today are rude, and they text as well as talk on their phones all through the movie. I've been once in the last 20 years.
Our people are all fine that were in Florida and hunkered down there for Irma. The pictures are horrific. Gangs are looting in the keys. NK and the orange moron are playing king of he hill and neither knows bupkus about leadership.
Mexico has earthquakes in the mid pacific coast, a hurricane in their NE, and we are fighting fires all over our west, and we have two areas destroyed by Hurricanes.
