The guy stood me up! Not sure what else I was expecting. But don't I feel awesome right now.
Ugh sorry to be a downer guys.
On a positive note, the meetings went really well today. I still don't know what's going to happen, but I'm not feeling as bad about it as I was before. Cleared a lot of air.

Hi Wolfie its always difficult to know the best time. Mornings around 8.30 ish seems to be really busy but so are afternoons. And of course it depends on the weather also. Birds don't like wind!
What I did was, seeing as I like watching the birds anyway!, do it several times over the weekend and you will get a pattern of the best time, bearing in mind the weather. You can send the figures for when your garden was most active with our feathered friends.
hope it's enjoyable for you and Mrs Wolfie, it's what you do anyway ! You may even see a different species visit you.

Inpar, give them a rest, the guys, that is. Make a decision that you're gonna have some time out, say, a couple of months, just for you. (And doggy!) Take control. You're a fantastic girl, don't waster your time with people who don't respect you and let you down! You're worth much more! Priceless! Don't you forget it!

IP you are obviously too much woman for him, if he was a now show just imagine how dire the date would have been if he turned up! Make a deal with yourself, no dates for 6 months, only have men as friends, don't allow yourself to expect more. I feel that, like me, you kinda jump into relationships with both feet, committing feelings they need to earn. By telling yourself you will only be friends with any males in your vicinity, it takes the pressure of romance off and let's you get to know if any of them are worth your time and emotion.
And before you guys get your dander up - same goes both ways!!

Thanks Mags we watched for an hour but the weather is so windy so not much but il take your good advice about keeping an eye during the day but not unless the wind calms down I doubt il see any there was a robin this morning but that's it even the starlings havnt visited or the wood pigeons

was the gas ok in your area FG? I hear a lot in Scotland lost gas for a couple of days.

Yeah, thanks, I know I should take a break. It's so obvious.
If I tried counting the birds to my feeder in an hour, oh my, it would be 100 chickadees, 100 redpolls, 3 bluejays and 1 grosbeak. Something like that. The whiskey jacks were coming by for a while but I haven't seen them lately. I'm going to try a different variation this time, see what else I can get. I am also thinking about getting a second feeder cause this one is just so busy.
I want to know your birdcount results!
I'm starting to feel better from this cold, finally. It's been a bad one. I broke down yesterday and got some cold medicine.
