It looks like the big snow storm will mostly be rain here today, with the snow tracking north. Cool beans.

I woke up and thought it was still the weekend. I have been so out of it lately, still sick, unbelievably, resorting to taking cold medication just to not be constantly disgusting, sleeping too much now it seems. I was actually confused this morning. And the craziest dreams.
I can't believe it's already February, and winter still hasn't really gotten here. It's been dry, hardly any snow at all, (for here). But as they say we could still very likely get a lot of snow all the way into March. I wouldn't mind. That's kind of why I'm here, to experience a Northern winter. So far--it's better than on the coast, not so humid.
Have a Torrid Tuesday, heh heh. Maybe not.
I've been invited to apply with a group of biologists applying for a Canadian Geographic study expedition!!! As the writer, recording what happens, basically. HOW COOL IS THAT. That would be amazing.

Happy terrific/tolerable and maybe torrid Tuesday.
It has snowed over 12 inches since yesterday. Our noon AA women's meeting will be cancelled and i will reschedule a hair appointment.
I see a day of watching movies ahead.
InParticular-Maybe the cold medicine is contributing to bad dreams if it has an antihistamine in it. Benadryl used to cause me to have the weirdest and scariest dreams.

Yippee!! I am here and have logged in from where I live - the mysterious DNS 'issue' with my provider has miraculously sorted itself out - I am soooo pleased

I'm starting a new course, and I just started a volunteer job, and I'm looking for work, and I need more hours in the day.

Sassy, did I mention lettuce sandwich.? Lettuce has a natural light sedative properties. Worth a try?
It's 11.38pm but I'm not tired. Started back at work yesterday. Just feel like having a nearly midnight feast! Think I'm finally seeing the end of the virus which will help the asthma enormously.
I'm thinking, I've got 9 years left to work before I can retire, do I want to stay in this job that I know well but depressing and not fulfilling or do I want or, have I got it in me to start again? You know I don't think I have, better the devil you know, for now. I sometimes feel it's all make believe at Work!
Right, I'm going to have a look around, speak tomorrow.

My dog is chowing down a new food flavour: pork and sweet potato!
I am tired......days have been too emotional and stressy. I need to simplify.
Mags--maybe you'll feel differently in while. No fun being in a depressing job though...
Big boss is in town...means one of two things.....we find out tomorrow. This company is big on leaving its employees in the dark, I tell you. About done with not knowing what the heck is going on. Hopefully I have good news for you all tomorrow....but really even the bad news would be good news at this point.
Off to bed for me.

Keeping busy here, nice weather has some of the contractors around for some repairs we have been doing. Like you FBL, we missed the big mess that went north of us, just rain. Apparently we had some thunderstorms overnight but neither Olive nor I heard them at all!
Had one of those odd moments when you think a drink would be good right now. A friend on the always-popular Facebook posted a picture of a fine spirit and said "looks like hubby had a bad day." Just goes to show the ol' Addict pops up now and then.

Congrats to Courage for 2 years sober today!
Just rain for us here yesterday. Just to north of us they had nearly a foot of snow.
