Class of October 2014 Part 25
Wow guys, that weather is something else! Stay safe, and Arbor if you must go out in this, at least it's for a whole lot of $$$.
All's good here. We were expecting more rain today, but it turned out to be not much, and the storm has cleared. This means a week of sunny skies. I'm not tired of the rain and would love to see it stay, but it needs time to soak in between storms, otherwise we will have too much erosion in the burn areas, and that could mean some gnarly mudslides and falling trees. So this rainy season is going just right so far.
I've had some nice down time to relax, eat, journal, and revamp my SR profile which I find strangely addicting.
Love to all!

Up early on a Sunday morning. I could not sleep, and after tossing and turning half the night, decided to get up. Been up since about 6. I'm sure Mark has me beat, and is out for a run already!
Are you still out plowing, Arbor?
How are you faring? Leigh? It reminds me of one huge storm we had last winter. It was awful. Hope you kept power.

EEEEK! Like Mark, I have never experienced a storm like that. I hope the power is staying on for you, Leigh. And Arbor, I hope you're home safe now with a cup of hot tea. Ch-Ching!
It's freezing but with blue skies here. I've been on a cleaning craze this weekend and it feels great to have some energy back. Heading to church and then home to enjoy a moment of zen in the clean house before my greasy, grimy guys get home. I'm hoping they'll want to grill and chill this evening.
Stay warm and well everyone!

Arbor I hope the night went ok. I've never experienced anything like that. I can't even fathom how surreal and freaking cold it must be out there!
Hopes and prayers for all our East Coasties.
Up before the family and making coffee so I'll be ready for my walking buddy. I haven't walked in a week or more, I've lost track, as I have of pretty much everything. This early recovery is madness, but I think I'm making a lot of progress. I really want a life, dammit! A real one!

I only last an hour shoveling; taking a break. It's going to take a long time. Like my signature says "Keep moving forward".
So sign of a plow.

Shoveling has been a real bear.

Hey guys, I'm back. Got in around 5am. Slept until 9 or so...not much rest, but maybe I can get a nap in.
I'd certainly help you out Leigh if you were local. But you can't push over 20" inches of snow. A storm like that you'd have to stay on top of and push a least twice. Take your time with that shoveling! Are you guys in a state of emergency? Id say we got off lucky compared to most. Good thing is that it's supposed to get warm this week, mid 40's. All this stuff is gonna melt. It's already melting today considerably.
Hopefully can catch some football later and cook a roast. Enjoy your Sunday shenanigans everyone.

Just completed another hour of work.
No sign of a snow plow here. My guess is tomorrow sometime.
