Good morning gang and happy Saturday. I have a general idea of where each of you east coast Octsobers reside and have been checking out your weather.
To see something like that outside my window is completely foreign to me. We've been up in sequoia park after a big snow event, but not seen it fall like that. I imagine there's something beautiful about it if you don't have to get out in it.
Not much will go on outside today around here. Another very gray day with stiff wind and about 35 now. My little one had a basketball game this morning at 8, so just settling back in and filling the bird feeders. They really feed in this weather and I enjoy providing their meals. I may try again to post a pic later.
So......when my kid's traffic incidents occurred last week I did a good job controlling my redneck temper. It's a good thing because I got pulled over on the way to the game this morning. With a car full of girls of course! I'm not familiar with that town and was going 50 in a 40. I tapped into all the charm I could muster and was let off with a polite....'slow down now you hear'..... Yes the universe has quite a way of humbling me.
What's going on with you snowed in folks? Any good comfort food to inspire me. I need to figure out something to cook. Arbor, will you have to plow once the snow stops?
Hoping our Conquest and V are feeling better

I know. But if it stays in the 6-8 range we will blow through it in four hours or so. Will still have my Sunday too. A sleepy Sunday, but one nonetheless.
I don't want to count my blessings just yet. It's far from over!

I doubt that we will see a plow until Monday.
Welp, the boss man seems to think 12-1am. We usually head on out just before it's over. It's all private drives and a few private roads. Hey, if it ends up being over 12 inches I'll get double pay.
Not gonna worry about it anymore. I used to get so stressed cause it was hard to manage my drinking around "when" we would go out to plow. Being on call like that when your a drunk isn't easy. I don't miss it one bit.

Kaneda, however, posted something in the 24 a couple days ago that reminds me to never take it for granted.
Anyway, if you gotta get out there this evening, at least you gonna cash in!
Kane always has a wonderful perspective, and I love his wisdom. This post was powerful, huh?

I've been watching the US news (love the internet), and gosh it looks scary. New Jersey for instance isn't looking good. I hope everyone is safe.
