Well, it was a good day, but I definitely struggled to keep good vibes going. I was just a cranky beast. Thank you, hormones. Oh, and thanks for being extra brutal as my body adjusts to the weight gain, because this process is certainly not uncomfortable enough as it is. Rrrrr!
Anyway, it was a good day. Hit up the Ross and found some sweet deals ($130 shorts for $12? Yes please and thank you). Dressing well on the cheap is sort of a hobby. Scouring those discount stores for good stuff is like a game for me, like panning for gold.
And we went to sushi for lunch, which is so much better when I can order an actual roll instead of just sashimi and brown rice. I still have to manage a lot of automatic temptations to restrict my calories, which is twisted because at the same time I'm deliberately eating a high calorie diet. But I'm able to mostly push that madness aside and enjoy the food, which is wonderful. I'm really grateful to have so much experience with AVRT because it helps tremendously with this.

Morning guys!
Was busy yesterday. Had a mailbox project to deal with that's pretty common around here this time of year due to snow plows taking them out. The whole thing just fell off the post and landed in the road Friday. Dry rotted. So me and my son took a trip to Home Depot to pick up the necessary supplies. Was fun despite the short attention span of a three year old! Also fixed the soap dispenser in the kitchen and some other things around the house. Was a fix em up kinda day. Feel like everything is broken or needs adjustment around here due to the kids and such. Guess that's why my wife has me around.
Today there is some sort of plan to hit up Costco early to pick up some meats (maybe fresh chicken wings that I'll fry myself) for next weeks big super bowl game.

Funny, Arbor, they do have great deals on the food! We joke about Costco being a lunch date. We eat all the samples and used to get a slice of pizza or hot dog. I am always watching what I eat so have not had that for years. Now I want a hot dog!
I had planned a Costco trip today as well, but it is just too nice out. My store is a bit of a drive and it just feels like a time suck. Will just go locally to get some dinner food and groceries for the early part of the week.
50 degrees and the sun is shining! I've got my bedroom window open and plan to take a walk with the dog.

Cowboy will be out of town for work next weekend, so Jr. and I have already planned to make Friday our hotdog night! I grew up on them and turned out just fine.
It's been a crazy busy weekend here with family. But today is the complete opposite. We've been so lazy, it's great. I hope y'all are finishing up the weekend with some R and R too.
