Steak and sparkling water - a fine way to toast our dear Conquest.

Oh, yes, and Strat Cake.

We'll have our little wedding celebration.

Arbor, Phoebe, BrighterDayz, Briar - get your orders in!!!!

Oh yes, I'm reminded that I am down to ONE can of seltzer. I guess I'll have to pull myself away from my solitude and brave a run to Kroger. Might even go for some Pom or cranberry juice to splash in. I quite like it. I shall piddle a bit more though.

Good morning V and happy Sunday.

I'll stop at Krogers; I'm almost there - what's your brand?

Not much to drink here either. Just tea, coffee, and milk. Oh yeah, ice water. My go to lately.

Y'all are shattering my idea of a New England winter! Thought you'd be getting about in sleighs by now.

I think from Kroger the brand is la croix. But I ain't picky.

The walk sounds nice Arbor. I like it best when I think y'all are having fun.

A walk with the kids and grandma....aww.....how lovely. All that's missing is the dog. And yes, I know you are not getting one.

I drink water by the bucket load, coffee (max 3 cups a day) and that's it I think.

I was busy crafting jewelry, but daughter and husband went the the park with hiking trails and dogs, with the dog, of course. It is a big hill, and I would have never imagined hiking there in December! I went last weekend. The dog hopped in the pond too! LOL. It was that warm. I hear he came out rather quickly, though.

So, my spiffy new mixer is not so spiffy. The bowl seem to give off some sort of oxidized metal. Turned my dough gray. In googling, I see I am not the first to have this problem, but seems sporadic. Was making my fist batch of cookies, which I have promised for a church caroling event. Will have to buy cookies to donate and deal with customer service on Monday.

Thinking of Conquest today and this evening!

Sorry about the mixer, phoebe. I'm finding that the quality of even once top-of-the-line appliances is suffering (too many parts/items made in China).

No pics yet, just sneaking away for a moment to say Thank You to each of you! It was absolutely perfect! Don't get me wrong...there were high nerves and a snafu with candles right before the start...but the wedding and reception were both perfect (never even thought of champagne after all of the great food). He and jr. looked so handsome!! We've got guests with us this weekend so it's pretty hectic here right now. And then we will be running away to the hill country next weekend. I just had to give each of you a virtual hug real quick. Lotsa love, Mrs. Cowboy!!!!!!!
