Sorry about the wretched night Arbor. Maybe there's some consolation in the fact that it's Friday. Maybe some comfort food this weekend. But for now I guess a bit of coffee and onward!

Today, I've cried, laughed, growled, but mostly smiled. Our AC went out last night and so I'm working on finding a nearby hotel for our guests. Fortunately, there are many to choose from. Who would think you'd need an air conditioner in Decemebr?! But it's super humid and around 75 degrees so... Just want everyone to be comfortable. Again, gotta love Texas winter.
Manicure and pedicure in the meantime. Aaaaahhhhh

Lunch break on Friday.......a nice little time of the week. Just hit 79 degrees and the gulf is generous with its humidity so we're running the AC a little too.

So I'm gonna net a few leaves out of the pool and enjoy the sunshine then knock out this afternoon's work.

Conquest, I am so excited for you!! And I want some of those cupcakes V posted. Man, they look wonderful! I love cake. LOL. Of course I do.
We waited until this weekend to get a Christmas tree. I hope there are some left. We plan to try to get it tonight after husband gets home. Either that, or tomorrow afternoon. So, we will be decorating this weekend.

Yep, I'll be thinking of you too Conquest. Hope the nerves hold up well.
We pulled out the artificial tree this year. Real trees are the preference, but sometimes I don't feel like it with the needles and all.
Unexpected houseguest arrived for the evening, but house is all mine for a bit as all are shopping.
